This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon. I seriously feel like I got shaken down for $90. I was apalled at the owner and her strange cold attitude. She was rude. She was cold as ice, she was shady, and you could just tell something was up with her. She has 20 different color books plus a thousand more color choices on the wall. She just kept saying over and over get the color!!! What color? Color was the least of my problems yesterday. They do SNL skits about these very situations. my issue was that I had a time crunch-She took complete advantage of that . She put me in the pedicure chair and her oldest tech kind of doing my while. She kinda leaned over me trying to get this weird set up for getting a little bit of gel polish leftover from my last manicure three months ago with these heat gloves and this just weird thing and I couldn’t see what the pedicure lady was doing. It was like gross , I told her absolutely not do not cut my toenails because I had already done that. I can’t have them doing that because I’m a bleeder and if it starts, it won’t stop she nipped my toe. Somehow she cut me . The weirdest thing about the pedicure was usually you’ll just sit there and they’re in full view of you and you can see exactly what they’re doing to your feet. Will the owner was like a leaning over me the entire time I can’t even describe it. She did anything if I took a picture you’d be like oh my God, no lotion no nothing , it’s awful. I said all I want to do is the heels you know that skin thing she didn’t even do that nothing charge me $40 the owner and she said what color and I said same as my toes and then one different color I was so upset when I left there and I paid her full 90$ including tip.c. She was really really awful, seriously I’ve never met anybody that nasty in one of those places I’ve been going for many many decades. I’m almost 70 years old., I feel like if it was a credit card I would I would absolutely stop Payment and take her to court. That’s why she has an ATM posted up in there. Can you even imagine? When I got to dinner, I was clearly upset and running late and just frazzled and I told them the whole story and show them my finger. She cut the crap out of my middle finger on my right hand and I realize the color was that was off., maybe I’ll post pictures later but I wanted to get this on here and I want to also get the Better Business Bureau one written because she’s she’s too much. I really did get scammed I believe and I’ll let the BBB sort that out. She’s a hustler peace of mind for me this exact same review that I’m saying maybe a little different verbiage whatever has been written more than way more than once about her on Google beware the five star reviews on...
Read moreI haven’t had my nails done many times before this visit. This shop is small and kind of grungy. I didn’t pick going here, it was a surprise Mother’s Day outing with my daughter. We had an appointment but we still waited nearly an hour to be seen. My daughter and I both wanted acrylics. The chairs we sat at were not clean nor was the surrounding table. When they finally called us they separated us even though we requested to be together. The nail tech started friendly but quickly acted annoyed when I didn’t know when to move my hands or what to do. I did tell her I was fairly new to this. My cuticles were very aggressively shaved off and now look like a hot mess. It caused my thumb to bleed. My nails burned for days after. Although I’m not well versed in acrylics I felt my nails were too thick and crooked. The shape is flat and funky looking. The supplies she used did not look clean and honestly I should have spoken up. The worst of it was all the hairs that were caught in my nails. I have little snags and bubbles on many of them. My fingers were left with dots of nail polish I had to peel off later. Honestly I do a better job at home. My daisy art actually has pieces of hair and gunk sealed in them. It’s really gross. They also painted up too high on my demolished cuticles. I’m very disappointed in these nails. My nail tech also chatted on and off on her phone nearly the whole time. I would NOT recommend this place.
UPDATE: After going to another nail salon to remove these nails she became increasingly concerned my acrylics were made with MMA. I am now forced to grow them out in fear I’ll ruin my natural nails.
** Now after two visits to a nail tech, they both agreed MMA was used on my nails. It is poisonous and FDA banned. It is prohibited to use in Colorado. I will be reporting them....
Read moreI do not very often make reviews but I have to on this one. I walked in on my lunch. I asked how long the wait was going to be and she told me 15 minutes. That was perfect timing. I waited 35 minutes before I was even SEATED. After being seated I still had to wait for her to half finish the girl next to me. She left the girl next to me to start on my nails. The other girl was obviously in a hurry too and told them she was on a time crunch. I would be so irritated if somebody left in the middle of my service to start on a new person. My entire service was rushed. She was very rough with the application and was filing way too fast. I left bleeding on 3 of my fingers. I have never had my nails done THIS RUSHED before. It was awful. Also, I understand salons get busy.. but do not tell me it'll be a 15 minute wait when it's really a 40 minute wait just to make the extra money. I contemplated leaving multiple times but felt like it would've been I huge waste of time after waiting so long. Please save yourself the time & go somewhere else.
P.S. If they reply to this review, they are so wrong. They knew I was frustrated. They knew the girl next to me was frustrated. They knew they told me 15 minutes and it turned out to be 40, but never one time was I offered an apology. They had many opportunities to make it right in the moment so I am confused why the same person that gave me my service is apologizing on every single review as if you didn't already know.
P.P.S. Two stations down from me there was a tech on the phone the entire time. Speaking English so we all knew what she was saying. It was the weirdest conversation ever about some drama and you could tell the customer was so uncomfortable. How do so many things happen in one salon in an hour...
