This was a superb park to spend the day with family who was visiting from out of state. It was close to places we could get lunch for everyone, close to a King Soopers where we headed when the kiddos needed to use the restroom.People at the park were friendly and the park was pet friendly. The playground was up to date, safe, and fun to explore with the kiddos. My only suggestion would be to go during the morning or evening if you have kids that will want to play in the playground because the heat is ridiculous during the hottest part of the day because there isn’t shade for the playground. There is nearby shade though that us adults who sunburn easily quickly found. As far as we could see there were no restrooms. The round paved walking path was perfect for the kids to ride scooters around on & the adults could see them as they got adventurous and rode their scooters around the circular walkway. I definitely advise staying in the shade as much as possible and bringing sunscreen. The people with dogs were responsible owners and they kept their dog under control and picked up their dog poop. The picnic area has a couple picnic tables—enough for our large group to take up two tables and there still was a table left for...
Read moreThis park is lovely. Great for kids 3 to 12. It has one slide, two swings, two teeter-totters, zip line, mini climb wall, monkey bars, two dizzy spinners, and a balance structure. It has wood chips which I like better than pea gravel. There is a drinking fountain and a large gazebo with 2 picnic tables and a barbecue pit. There is also horshoe pits, a large open field, basketball court, and dog walk. It is a really nice park. Only minor drawback is there is no restroom. But there is a shopping center nearby you could use. I take my kids there a couple times a week...
Read morePerfect place for everyone. Baseball area on the far left side. There is a large picnic area great for parties. I love taking my dog here or biking around the park with the kids. There is a large open field where my kids played undisturbed. Along the sidewalk, there are a few intact benches. A couple of homeless people slept around the edges under the trees, but that's to be expected. The park itself is in good condition and has loads of equipment. There is one water fountain, but I recommend bringing a water bottle. Whenever I have been there, the grass...
