Northgate plaza — Attraction in Colorado Springs

Clean and well stocked: When my husband and I first walked in the person was not very helpful- The individual greeted my husband and I from behind the counter and seemed less than happy to see people. The clerk did however, say hello and asked if they could help us find anything. I politely said we were fine and then asked a question or two about the dog donuts and dog food. We walked away to look around and another customer walked in with their fur baby and the other person stocking the shelves started helping them, ( I wasn’t even aware that other associate was there- they never spoke to us until checkout ). After walking the entire store 3 times we finally found some goodies for our baby’s (they loved the donuts), then I inquired more about a substitute for the dog food they didn’t have. At this time and point we had picked up salmon oil, some dog goodies and some other items so we were clearly were there to make a purchase. We proceeded to the checkout counter and one of the associates asked if we were done shopping and if we were members, - no real explanation of the program. We still took it because I asked if we would save when we came back and the response was yes. We still haven’t found the dog food we needed so I asked again and the other staff member then started looking it up and gave me some great information about this brand of dog food and how it could be effecting my pets dry skin/health. The association also told me if we come back they could help me find something better for my fur babies stomach and skin. That associate was extremely helpful near the end! I WILL be going back, even if I did not get the warm and fuzzies at the beginning of the interaction. That associate was very knowledgeable about the dog food and now I am signed up for the points system, so I can save too! The prices were normal for a private pet shop. I live close by and haven't been in any business there (maybe Spirits once) since Sprouts Market started their insane mask policy that allows no medical exemptions and children 2 and over must wear mask. I've started buying my supplements online elsewhere instead and cheaper. Covering your face is stupid and useless. ...

This is one of my favorite places in the North gate area. Everything you need in one outdoor shopping trip. Love! I get everything I need from mailing packages to Ace hardware supplies for my garden and groceries. All in one stop. Occasionally a little trip for coffee and sweets or browsing at take a peak....
