Had an appointment with 2 friends for spa pedicures (which are pretty pricy). One of my friends was started on immediately, while the other 2 of us waited for about 30+ minutes. Then when we did start my nail technician completely rushed through buffing and cutting away the cuticles of my nails, to the point that when I finished it was only about 10 to 15 minutes past my friend who had started hers 30 minutes earlier. At no point was I asked if I liked the shape of my nails, how the color looked or if I thought they looked okay in general.
When she had finished and I looked at my toes there was stray polish and dead bits of skin. I pointed this out to the technician and she begrudgingly fixed it a little bit, then when I kept pointing out what she had failed to fix she kept arguing with me that she had done that already. That women left. Then thankfully the technician who was working on my friend next to me asked me if it was okay, and I said, well no, it looked messy and there was still dead skin, and my polish was messy and nails were not thoroughly cleaned underneath or filed properly. She came over to fix a few things and clipped off a lot more dead skin. I'll remind you that I had full polish on and my first technician said I was all set. After finishing with my friend, the second nail technician spent about 20 more minutes fixing the rushed job which was wonderful of her.
We did get 10% off for the waiting time and it in the end I was charged for a classic, which ended up being $30 (not sure if that had 10% off of it). I tipped $10 to Nga, the wonderful woman who tried her best to fix my nails. Really, though I will need to go get them fixed elsewhere. $40 for a pedicure when I'm going to still have to get another one later this week is ridiculous. Save your money and go somewhere else instead.
I'll add that my 2 friends have always had good experiences here and up until now were monthly customers, but after today we are all looking for...
Read moreI have been going to signature nails since 2014 when Kelvin ran it and cared about his customers being happy and returning, you can imagine the amount of money spent there over this period of time and the friends and people I have referred. When somthing went wrong or you didn't like it Kelvin took care of it free of charge they were good business then someone else took over and it's cluttered no one is friendly and they are always on phones and no customer contact not to mention this is the third time that I've went there and they have messed up not apologized but still charge me full price for their mess up and this time I'm just done they were very rude about it I was there from most three hours they had to redo my nails and completely take them off after I told the lady that's not what I wanted she continued to keep doing it then she redid them and they still weren't the way I wanted them there two different completely looking and look Terrible and I should the Manager Heather and she replied with can't fix them now she used all the powder. They're supposed to be like chrome shiny but I thin coat instead I have one hand looking like chrome and the other hand looking like sparkle.... she coulda offered something different but they're more worried about making money versus keeping customer satisfied and charging full price at that it was ridiculous I should've got temper sent off I should've got an offer to do it a different way because I wasn't happy with the way they were done.......
Read moreVery, very sad I had to change my review, Iâve been coming here for five years and the first year that they open They were really doing the damn thing and doing great nails, but I guess supply demand and upkeep overtime. The nails just got worse and youâre paying full price. Not only that, but Iâve been going to the same technician for those five years and just up until recently I made an appointment with who I thought was the best, and this would be the second time it happened, where I sit down and tell him what Iâm ready to do and he tells me he doesnât have time (even if I made the appointment beforehand) and then if he allows me to sit and get my nails done, he rushes through it doesnât take his time theyâre sloppy nails and youâre still paying for the nails so this last time I just let him know that Iâve been a loyal customer for five years and unfortunately this was very unprofessional and very sad and I can go. But This is why you donât give your loyalty to businesses. this is why you move around to different salons and give other people your money and they give you a service because I went to another salon and FINALLY beautiful nails ARE PRODUCED, just beautiful work and theyâve been open for 10+ years. Will never return to Oxford. Waste of money, waste of time đ Oxford doesnât have the same vibe that used to have. I would literally spend my money...
