Roswell Park is a quiet, not-often-busy, fun place to play on swings or slides in sand pits, and there is plenty of soft green grass to kick a soccer ball around the field in, and huge trees to lean up against while writing in your journal and listening to the babbling brook.
On a slightly more sad note, I don't suggest going in or near the creek, as the PFAS ("forever" chemicals) we have in our wild waterways (all the way up to Denver, I hear) is getting worse. Take these chemicals very seriously. They will shorten your life, and the lives of your children.

Read moreThat rarest of gems - a Colorado playground with SHADE! Lots of big trees shade the play structure, which has two levels, with the lower one suitable for toddlers. There’s a side area, also in th shade, with musical play items. Multiple picnic tables (IN THE SHADE) and benches for seating, and a place to throw away trash. A lovely place for a picnic with kids! Read moreWell designed for spring/summer/fall. There's decent tree coverage from the sun during hot days and there's plenty of space to sit in the sun for cold days. The playground and the slides mostly face away from the sun, so they won't get burning hot on those 90f+ days. There's no real field for team games but you can throw or kick a ball with a couple people. Honestly a great park with a nice neighborhood...
