A Gem in the Heart of Historic Lincoln Center: Building Three Coffee
Today, I had the pleasure of starting my morning at Building Three Coffee, located in the charming Lincoln Center of Colorado Springs. As a fellow small business owner, I understand the value of excellent service and top-notch products, and Building Three Coffee delivers on both fronts.
The Coffee I ordered a Breve Latte, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The coffee was rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed. It was clear that the baristas are passionate about the quality of their craft.
The Food Although I didn't have any food this time around, the menu options were enticing. From freshly baked pastries to wholesome breakfast choices, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
The Ambiance My family and I, including our two dogs, decided to sit outdoors. The patio area was comfortable and offered a relaxed atmosphere. It was a refreshing way to appreciate the Colorado sunshine.
Parking Ample parking was available, making it convenient for anyone planning a visit. It's a small but significant detail that adds to the overall positive experience.
Wheelchair Accessibility This establishment gets extra points for being wheelchair accessible, allowing everyone the opportunity to enjoy what they have to offer.
The People Last but not least, the staff at Building Three Coffee were gracious and attentive. Their good-natured demeanors made the visit all the more enjoyable.
If you're looking for a place that combines quality, accessibility, and a welcoming atmosphere, look no further than Building Three Coffee. As someone deeply involved in the healthcare and wellness industry, I can't stress enough how important a good start to the day is, and this coffee shop provides just that. I wholeheartedly give them a five-star review and recommend them to anyone looking to elevate their...
Read moreI've had both the seasonal Maple Bourbon Honey latte and the Butterscotch latte from here. They have unique and complex latte syrups, which I appreciate. Building III's espresso is rich and smokey. All-in-all, they make a damn good latte. The atmosphere is simple, open, and clean. The location is great too with lots of seating in the school's halls. The only downside is I feel like this place is the most hipster of all hipster coffee shops in the Springs. Now, depending on who you are, you may absolutely love that. All power to you. However, to us regular jeans and t-shirt people, I think it feels...confusing. I guess I just don't understand what drives one to refuse to brush their hair, but wear designer clothing. Or the guy with the laptop sticker that says, "tax the rich" and yet he's on a new model laptop, with an iPhone in hand, while drinking a drink that likely wasn't cheap. (I'll let the hypocrisy slide...he's young and probably hasn't had Economics 101 yet.) Regardless, the "hipster-vibe" isn't Building III's fault. But, for some reason they attract a particular group, which in-turn makes this place feel less family-friendly. I don't mind much either way. I always get in some good people watching and I think its important to stay in-touch with all generations. But I wanted to at least mention this in my review: if you're looking for a trendy hang-out, this is the place. If you want to just have some casual coffee and not be surrounded by people glued to technology with an interesting fashion sense...I'd go...
Read moreI'd heard a ton about this shop and loved the innovation behind the location! Cool interior, but I felt as though they could have made the interior a little more homey than it was. Felt pretty industrial and cold, even though the furniture and stuff was cool. Good music levels and didnt echo too much though!
Staff were super nice and helpful! Really enjoyed the conversation I had. Normally 5 stars are pretty easy for me to hand out, but I think this time I was a little too under-impressed with the espresso to do so. Maybe it was because the bar had been set so high by others? Unsure. And i will be back to try again cause I dont like to base opinions on 1 visit. But for this first visit my cortado's oat milk was not very hot and curdled in the espresso. Might have also been from the espresso being under-extracted, quite acidic, with a lemony aftertaste. Then the sparkling water that was served with it was flat.
I still drank it, because I wont ever waste what Im given, but I expected better. Big part might have been because the shop closed within the hour, but at a specialty shop like this the quality should be maintained from open to close.
Hoping this was a one-off and I'm excited to go back!
Edit: The next visit was great. Met a friend for coffee and the Christmas Blend was a great change of pace for my morning. Bustling cafe and...
