I recently visited a Warhammer store that had been a local hub for the community, largely thanks to the incredible work done by Kaycee, the manager. Kaycee had worked tirelessly to build a welcoming, vibrant community for players, organizing events, helping newcomers, and fostering a true sense of camaraderie. The store had tables set up specifically for games, and it quickly became the go-to place for Warhammer enthusiasts to gather and play.
However, things took a negative turn when Kaycee's manager, Aaron, stepped in. It became clear that Aaron did not share the same vision for the store. Despite the fact that the store had space set up for gaming and a community eager to use it, Aaron repeatedly made it clear he didn’t want people coming in to play. This led to a tense environment, and Kaycee was caught in the middle of an unjust situation, with her dedication to the community being undermined by the very person who should have been supporting her.
Kaycee built something truly special from scratch—an engaged and loyal community. She was the heart and soul of that store, and the relationships she cultivated made the store a unique, thriving place. Now, because of Aaron’s poor treatment of Kaycee and his disregard for the community she nurtured, a lot of those players are refusing to return. It’s a shame because Kaycee’s efforts had a genuine, positive impact on the store’s success.
Unfortunately, it seems that Aaron’s mismanagement is going to cost the store a lot of business. The community that Kaycee spent so much time and effort creating will no longer be supporting the store, and it’s hard to see how the store will recover from this. Kaycee deserved better, and it's disheartening to watch her hard work be disregarded like this. I can only hope the store realizes the loss it’s about to face because of...
Read moreDon't come here! Go to Gamer's Haven instead!!! Customer here is awful, went here with my son last weekend to buy an overprice warhammer figure, and when my son was short 2 pennies, literally 0.02c short to make the purchase, the girl up front told him to come back when he had all of the money because they were closing soon anyways (they still had 20 mins til close). So then I went in with him, had to wait 10 more mins and the girl tried to tell me the same, that they were closing and to come back another time. I told her I wasn't leaving without this overprice warhammer figure as we drove across town for this and were arrived 20 mins before closing time. She did sell it to us finally but not before sighing exasperatedly. What kind of awful customer service is that? I drive across town with my child to bring you business and you treat my child rudely over 2 pennies and then try to refuse to sell me the item that we just drove across town for, all so you can close 20 mins earlier than what is posted on your website??? Extremely rude and awful customer service. You would think you would want people to keep coming to your store, especially with out high priced your items are. Go check out Gamer's Haven instead, much better pricing and...
Read moreWe've been going to this location for about 5 months. It was great till a little over a month. I don't know Kaycee personally but she was above and beyond helpful. She even got me to get my kids involved. We left a couple times dropping $500 in sales. Recently we went there and had plans to spend a lot. However we didn't get a hello or help at all. Tables were gone but one. We saw 5 different sets of customers come in and go. They were definitely interested but not helped and left. My older son was talking to others and getting sales. It was sad. Then we left (mind you it was Saturday at 11am) and the guy locked the doors. We went to Michael's and when walking past again 2 hrs later people were standing outside the door trying to shop and call the store. No idea what happened and the sales guy...
