Update: the managing owner of Texas Roadhouse called me and chatted for a little while, getting specifics and apologizing for the experience. He also sent a gift card that we can use on our next visit. I feel that this is exactly the kind of response that you want to see from respectable company, so I and modifying my rating to reflect the excellent customer service received (original testing 3 of 5, new rating 4 of 5).

It's very hard, for me, to give Texas Roadhouse anything but a 5-star review because it's in my top 5 places to eat - possibly my favorite. But, on this particular visit, things didn't go as well as usual.

On this occasion, we were seated reasonably quickly and the table was nice and clean - no issues. Our server did a decent job, although she was slow in refilling drinks - we had to flag her down to get refills. The buns and cinnamon butter were exceptional, as always.

We received our food in a normal amount of time and my Ribeye was very well cooked and everything fine (pretty fatty, but that's ok - tasted great). My wife's Filet, unfortunately, was cooked completely wrong (warm, red center, when she ordered Well Done...although she prefers Medium, she has to do Well Done right now). We showed our server, who agreed that it wasn't Well Done and said she would get it corrected and back in a bit. During the next 20 minutes, we asked her to check on it and she did and we also mentioned it to the manager when he came by, and he checked on it...but we ended up receiving it after I had eaten all if my steak and sides - around 1/2hr later. It was the same steak (with the same bite taken out of it), and by this time, it was pretty dry and flavorless, but it was now Well Done. They also forgot to bring her side of steak fries, so we received those another 5+ minutes later, after mentioning that to the manager and server, as well.

So, all in all, not a great experience, this time. Nothing comp'd, no offer of anything free, etc...just a couple of light "Sorry for the wait" comments; which is all right, but disappointing. We'll definitely be back, but maybe with a little less...

It was my significant others birthday and we came here and had substandard service and food. I also left dental equipment which I know was left at the restaurant but was told was not found. It is worth $3,600 and I'm sure it was just thrown away. After we left my significant other accidentally left her food because we couldnt get the table kiosk to work for our payment. Her main course was completely untouched (main course 11oz steak with sautéed onions and mushrooms and loaded baked potatoe) we called the manager to inform him of this and he said I'm so sorry we will give you a credit so next time you come in you can order "ANYTHING YOU WANT" so we order a another steak with sautéed onions and shrooms, a loaded baked potatoe, and Ceasar salad. After our order we recieved a call from a manager and were told that we only received a $20 credit when we were told we could order anything we wanted but once we received it we received an 8oz steak, instead of a loaded baked potatoe we received a normal baked potatoes with nothing on it and not even cut down the middle, and a Ceasar salad the size of a childs portion. Nowhere near the amount of lettuce you would receive inside the restaurant. Had to go back in to fix the baked potatoe and were just given the sides which is actually OK just wish a restaurant of this size would've went the extra mile to fix the original order. Guys and gals if you are ever in the northern colorado/ Fort Collins area please visit this location and see how service is supposed to be. I highly recommend this location if you are in this area or visiting Colorado. Amazing customer service, social interaction, and incredible atmosphere overall. If you can't make it to the northern colorado location I would recommend the S. 8th St. Texas roadhouse over this one. Maybe it was just a one off experience for us and I'm usually not one to post negative reviews but I hope this helps everyone and I hope if you do visit this location you truly have a...

You know, typically Texas Road House isn’t a bad spot to go when we decide on a last minute dinner plan, nor is it in me to write a review even when restaurants aren’t the best. Service with Carson was amazing. HOWEVER! My sister ordered a salad with no croutons, and no bacon. The salad came back with bacon. We don’t eat pork of any sort, due to our religion. So we tell the food runner girl, it wasn’t supposed to have that, as both confess it was on the ticket and she will take care of it. We state to her it’s for religion so we would pick it off, if it wasn’t. The salad comes back maybe less than a minute later. My sister barely goes to take a bite, and I’m like “dude no, there is still bacon on that”. We go to ask the server if they just tossed the meat onto another plate to give it fresh lettuce, and used the same meat, and he says yes! It’s the same meat that had the bacon on it. The manager stopped by before we left to do a table touch, but of course my sister is just way too nice and “everything was great”. Hell no it wasn’t great. The fact they literally just used the same meat, because why make a new one for someone who doesn’t eat pork and just reuse it, as if we won’t know. It’s absolutely improper, disgusting, UNETHICAL, and shows that they don’t care about your beliefs, it makes me question if she was better off saying she’s allergic, but even then they would probably reuse it. Definitely ruined a good 10 years of my family and I being a regular there, ever again. It isn’t the servers fault, thank god he’s honest. It’s back of house, if your a place of business and it’s busy and tickets are coming in like crazy, and there is a mess up, it’s your due diligence to make it right the second time if it can’t be done right the first. So if your belief matters to you, or your allergies...

Texas Roadhouse is my go-to place for my family if I want a really good steak that will not break the bank. My kids love the rolls and love the steak. However, some more options for sides and appetizers could go a long way. FOOD: The steaks are fantastic here. My personal favorite would be the Ribeye and the NY Strip. However, their Sirloins are surprisingly delicious. At home, I rarely cook sirloins but theirs are so juicy, tender, and flavorful. If you did not know, you can pick a steak from the display in the front and they will cook you that one. The chili is great and the potato soup are great. However, when it comes to sides and appetizers, I wish there were more options that we would enjoy. As for sides, the only ones we enjoy are the baked potato and the corn. As for appetizers, I also wish there were more options. We basically never order appetizers. As for the rolls.... my kids cannot get enough of them. SERVICE: The Service here has always been fantastic and we have always had really good servers. I have also had some interactions with the managers when I had some issues and they were very eager to resolve any issues. ATMOSPHERE: The Atmosphere is fine on the inside and is always really clean. However, during the rush times on the weekends it gets out of control in the waiting area. People are just stacked on top of each other, they block the steak display and its hard to leave without bumping into people. Overall, I truly enjoy the steaks from Texas Roadhouse. This was a hard score because I want to give them 5-Stars but the lack of options on the sides and appetizers pulls them just below. Their colleague Bubba's, across the street, has tons of appetizers. Bring some of them over, like the bone-in wings or the chorizo queso dip.

It was my first time being in this part of Colorado and also my very first time trying the legendary Texas Roadhouse! The wait wasn't too long it was maybe 15 to 20 minutes at the most considering how packed it was, the waitress who served us was very kind and attentive and despite all the noise she was able to hear us clearly and she made zero mistakes and you can tell she was very good at what she does and the second I felt she knew what she was doing I instantly felt comfortable despite the loud noise, now for the food me and my boyfriend of course ordered steaks, we both ordered the ribeye but my boyfriend got his rare and mine medium rare and as we waited we had dinner rolls ready for us and omg the rolls were very good, also our drinks were always topped off, and our steaks came to the table with a short wait which surprised me and curbside along with it which my boyfriend had sweet potatoes and loaded mash potatoes (he loves potatoes) and i got loaded mash potatoes and green beans and the green beans was flavorful and perfectly cooked and it was the perfect side and the loaded mash potatoes was so amazing it was definitely loaded and loaded with flavor it wasn't your average boring mash, it was ultimate mash potatoes that pairs perfectly with the steak, now the steaks we ordered were cooked perfectly exactly how we requested and the flavor was bold and delicious and seasoned well and we enjoyed every single bite! Thank you to our waitress and the manager for making sure our experience was top notch! Next time we are in town we will be returning to this location!
