Boulder County Fairgrounds Osprey Platform — Attraction in Colorado

Love that we are able to watch these wonderful creatures! I do however wish the people who monitor the chat for the cam would do a better job. Since the news shared the video of our beloved mother osprey in one of the horrible hail storms, protecting her eggs at all costs, there are a lot of new people watching and commenting. It is really amazing to have a osprey family broadcast in right center of city longmont. I visited the small pond there twice, from the pond bank, actually you can not see the osprey net clearly, at least, you are not able to see what really happened inside the net. The camera on top is really a genius idea. Now it is already the hottest summer, will the ospreies feel hot too...
