Hotshot Repair — Attraction in Columbia Township

On a Friday night I spilled a small amount of acetone on the keyboard of my MacBook Air. Unfortunately with most repair places closed through the weekend, I had to wait until Monday to take it somewhere. Monday morning I took it to a different Apple repair shop in Columbia where I paid $150 JUST for them to look at. After they kept it for 24 hours, I was told my repairs would be $730 and I wouldn't have my laptop for a week as it would need to be mailed in to Apple. At this point I figured I would just need a new laptop. Upon recommendation from a friend, I called Kevin and he was able to give me more information over the phone than the other shop had given me in person. I took my laptop to Kevin at Hotshot Repair, and I can say my only regret is NOT taking it to Kevin first. I walked in thinking it was beyond repair, and Kevin immediately opened it up and told me what was wrong. He replaced my battery and fixed the damaged keyboard for $200 and within 3 days -- in the meantime, I was able to keep my laptop. We were simply waiting on parts. Like I mentioned, my ONLY REGRET IS NOT TAKING MY LAPTOP TO KEVIN FIRST! He provides extremely reliable, quality, TRANSPARENT service. He will give you only honest information. I don’t even know where to start! A quick google search led me to Hotshot, I mean it had the highest rating so it was a no brainer. A quick phone call along with an informational conversation, fantastic customer service, & a welcoming voice later - my screen was replaced all in the same day! It was by FAR the cheapest in town & it was all taken care of in a timely manner. Kevin even went as far as to offer his time to take care of my phone within a reasonable amount of time after he typically closes - just Incase I couldn’t get there before closing time! While there I got to watch him patch up my sad phone & it was a fun personable experience. Lastly- Kevin was delighted to give me the option (and recommendation that I should) of staying for a few additional minutes to make sure my screen was fully functional & good to go as an extra measure to ensure I wouldn’t get home with a non or weird functioning screen. Overall - Hotshot is the ONLY place I will be taking any feature business regarding my electronics, and I am over the moon about being able to recommend Kevin 100%. Hotshot...

My 8 year daughter was devastated that her laptop wasn't working. Even though we had discussed the danger of viruses, she still managed to get a nasty one that completely demolished Windows 10 and made the 1 year old netbook non functional. Very up front communication about options, which was awesome because it was only a $300 netbook and I wasn't looking to spend a fortune.
