Such a cool library! Airy space with multiple floors to browse, meet, or quietly read and work. Wonderful staff! Can definitely camp out here for hours, as long as you can find a power outlet (fair warning, a lot of the tables with outlets are not actually connected to any power).

We needed to stop somewhere while traveling for my husband to get on a Zoom meeting. We could not have picked a better place! What a beautiful and welcoming area for children with so many things to do. My two-year-old had so much fun. I wish this library was in our town.

The library was great! We were able to get three library cards quickly and were able to check out a LOT of books and some DVDs too. There's a large selection and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Awesome resource for so many things: materials (books, of course, but also CDs, DVDs, take-home kits, ...), computer usage, wifi, printing, children's programs and activities, public forums, ... too many things to remember! Not to mention online resources (movies, requesting and reserving items for loan/checkout, reserving spots for programs and classes, again, too much to mention 😀). Designated areas for active kids, quiet area for studying, tutoring, music presentations, ... Very knowledgeable and helpful staff, convenient layout, comfortable seating. I only see room for improvement in the computers (a bit slow to start up and access things sometimes), and (minor, compared to all the positives) I'd like to have more hooks in the restrooms for coats, purses, other bags. I guess I'm just noticing it more than usual with the cold weather, but there's only a single thing to hold everything in the restroom and, rather than put anything on the floor, I end up using the hook for my purse and shoulder bag and just draping my coat and scarf over the top...

I have been going to the Columbia Public Library ever since I was a baby. I have had such fond memories going there. I started off going into that green bubble room and doing all the different activities and listening to people reading books and when I was a little older reading myself, to dogs. I remember going to the children's section and playing checkers and reading books and listening to the audio book machine they had there. And then I got older and moved on to older books and reading chapter books, but I still loved to look in the children's section haha. And I remember getting my first Library card there and feeling so important. And today I went to the library for the last time because I'm moving and I just wanted to say thank you for all the memories. 100...

Columbia Public Library offers a lot of services for free to the public. I personally love genealogy and technology. They offer classes to help educate and further our learning. They also offer other wonderful services a lot for free for library card holder's. One of my daughters and I enjoyed finding a table and creating some new stories while increasing our writing knowledge. ✍️ We enjoy Columbia Public Library, and I admit we are thankful for you and...
