I had the pleasure of dining at Broadway Dinner recently, and I must say, it was an experience worth savoring. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with an inviting ambiance that set the tone for the evening.
The food at Broadway Dinner was nothing short of exceptional. The menu boasted a delightful array of dishes that catered to a variety of tastes. Each plate that arrived at our table was a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The ingredients were fresh, and the attention to detail in the preparation was evident in every bite. It's not often that a restaurant manages to strike the perfect balance between creativity and tradition, but Broadway Dinner achieved just that.
However, what truly set this dining experience apart was the customer service. The staff were attentive in the most genuine way, ensuring that our glasses were never empty and that we had everything we needed. They were knowledgeable about the menu and able to offer recommendations based on our preferences. It was clear that they took pride in their work and genuinely cared about our satisfaction.
What truly left a lasting impression was the owner's involvement in the evening. The owner didn't just oversee the operation from afar; they took the time to interact with each table, engaging in conversations that went beyond the typical pleasantries. It was refreshing to see an owner who was not only invested in the success of the restaurant but also in the experiences of their guests. This personal touch added an extra layer of warmth to the evening.
In a world where dining out can sometimes feel rushed and impersonal, Broadway Dinner is a refreshing oasis. It's a place where the art of food and the art of hospitality come together seamlessly. Whether you're seeking a romantic evening out, a celebratory gathering, or simply a memorable meal, Broadway Dinner is more than equipped to deliver. From the delectable dishes to the impeccable service, this establishment has certainly earned its place on my list...
Read moreI'm in town on business and had a very large vehicle. It limited where I could park and where I could walk on a warm day. I took a chance and ate here.
FOOD: 2 🌟 Average at best. No prices on the menu.
$16 (including tax and tea) for this quality of food is definitely over priced.
I ordered one scrambled egg with bacon and chose buscuits and gravy instead of toast.
The bacon was my favorite item. It was very meaty and cooked perfectly. Three slices was a suprise (I can't remember if # was listed or not).
Hash browns are more like breakfast potatoes (I perfer breakfast potatoes over hash browns allll day long). BUT, these were very bland and without any seasoning. Some parts were a bit too crispy. I wish they had been seasoned and/or with some onions. I wouldn't recommend or order them again.
The biscuits and gravy wasn't great at all. Tasted like gravy out of a can. The biscuits were okay. I wouldn't recommend or order them again.
SERVICE: 5 🌟 I didn't catch her name, but it was her first day was today!! She was friendly and sweet. She checked on me and offered refills.
Other staff seamed friendly and outgoing.
Service was fast.
ATMOSPHERE: 3-4🌟🤷♀️ Nice retro diner vibe going on. Laid back. Although I chose to sit at a table, it was nice to see they had counter seating.
Some of their signs, and menus are getting a bit faded and worn. Table top items could be wiped down better. Not the best things to view as you're eating. Place could use a spring cleaning. Not impressed.
Side note: dishwasher / bus man came out and quickly removed dishes from empty table. But returned with dripping soap sudsy hands to wipe the table down. Kinda added to the grimy vibe. 🫤
RECAP: Fast and friendly service. Food was average at best. A bit grimey. I...
Read moreThis is the perfect American diner. There is one big, visible flattop grill churning out breakfast and lunch simultaneously while creating heavenly smells. You can watch the cook at work, and the skill is evident. The service is friendly and attentive. Everything down to the tiny details of the decor, the tables, the bar and stools, the milkshake machine, the little jelly packets, and the hot silver syrup container brought to each customer is perfect and deeply authentic. Tabasco and Frank's Red hot sauce grace every table in large bottles. The meat and eggs are sourced from local farms, in a miraculously unpretentious and affordable way, and you can taste the quality in the bacon and eggs. The biscuits and gravy are good too, a rarity from any restaurant anywhere. Good ingredients are prepared simply and humbly at this magical place, which also serves homemade pies and gooey butter cake. Only a fool wouldn't buy some pie before leaving here. This place deserves a Michelin star and landmark status. It is a rare beast in a time when Americans descend in politically divided droves upon satanic corporate facades like Cracker Barrel and Texas Roadhouse, and unwelcoming bourgeois hipster vegan avocado bruncheries selling "okay colonizer" stickers for 5 bucks a pop. If there is a line, just wait in it. Trust me. Relax and enjoy a true experience in the kind of place you worry might be vanishing from this world. Order too much food and eat yourself sick, and then eat some pie too. Bring your real friends and loved ones here. Be kind America. There is...
