This place is the worst. I made a purchase on the 18th online. I called in to check on delivery I was advised it would be the same day (Yay, OR NOT) because I never got a call so I called back and was told the furniture was actually damaged. Ok fine, no worries. They said the following week they would be getting another truck in. I wait the week, that day comes … I call them and I am told that “something”happened to the delivery driver and that the truck was now not coming until the following Tuesday (28th) … I was not happy but decided I would wait the few extra days. Well the 28th came no call from Legacy . It was 3pm and I finally called and was told the truck came in and my furniture was NOT on the truck. Now at this point yes I’m frustrated but as a paying customer I think I have the right to be I spent over 1300 dollars and this would be the THIRD reschedule. The manager in store “Rodney” he tried justifying saying he usually tells his customers it could take 2 weeks and that when dealing with some bigger companies like “ Ashley Furniture “ things can happen. When you business is representing another businesses products you all are one at that point and just make it right…. No one ever told me that this could take two weeks for delivery I much rather of been told a 2 week delivery then keep being promised different delivery dates multiple times!… so I asked for a refund I was then told this needs to go through the company who the furniture was coming from I asked for contact info. I was denied that access. Again a paying customer who spent 1300 dollars should not have to go through this many loops. They had no problem taking my money so put it back. Rodney got extremely unprofessional with me. I have been in customer service many years and you deal with irate customers especially when your company is in the WRONG. So you continue to apologize and try to make it right instead of promising call backs and never calling back and so fourth. I ended up having to go through my bank to dispute this charge as furniture never received and I will NEVER recommend this business to anyone looking for good customer service. Again rescheduled THREE times denied access to someone higher up . Wasted time...
Read moreI’m surprised by how many stars this place is getting. Me and my husband are young and first time homebuyers. We trusted that this place would be trustworthy and they have been the absolute worse to us. They held important information about terms and policies. They have lied to us many times, one being that we wouldn’t pay anything until we got all of our furniture and that we would get our furniture quickly. Yet they started charging us the first week and we didn’t even have anything! THEN they tell us our furniture won’t be leaving the warehouse for another month. So we decided to cancel and they told us we would need to pay a 50% restocking fee. What’s to restock if it hasn’t left the warehouse?! We asked did they have that on paper and no they did not. They’re crooks. And don’t get me started on them putting furniture on our account that we NEVER received or knew about and they won’t even give us the said furniture that they charged us for. 0 stars from us. Read moreUpdate. 2 weeks later. Still no call, still no update or check. Still has no answer for where my money is. Purchased a couch on January 3. Still hadn't come in by March. End of March, we cancelled the order because they weren't sure when it was going to come in. We were supposed to receive a check in the next few weeks. It is now May 3. Still have no check or couch. Called them again and they said looks like they missed your name on the list of checks to write. I needed that check to go purchase a couch before family comes in.
