I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE HERE TODAY! Be careful who you let pierce you. I’ve been pierced here 3 times. Great experiences each of those times with either Sarah or Katie. Today was completely different, a horrible experience. I came into to get my nostril jewelry changed, I was serviced by SHEA who I have never met before. We get into the room and I explain to Shea that I want to change my jewelry because I think I’m having a bad reaction to my current jewelry and my piercing has become infected & painful. She giggled and says “Yeah” which I thought was very odd considering that she is a piercer and didn’t look at my piercing or even offer to tips to help it heal. She didn’t offer anything. I brush that off. She then proceeds to remove my jewelry and I immediately started wincing and my eyes were watering because it was extremely painful. She was handling my nose so roughly even though I mentioned it was painful. She is struggling to get my jewelry out with her hands (no tools!!) She stops and I asked her if my jewelry was out, she tells me no and grabs something then is finally able to remove my jewelry. I was in so much pain. She then grabs my new jewelry and is putting it in and once again she’s struggling to get it in and being EXTREMELY rough and not telling me what is going on at all. At this point it hurts more than actually getting my nose pierced. You would think she would be more gentle considering the information I gave her when I first came in. So I’m just sitting there in extreme pain to the point that I asked her if we can stop for a second because it hurts that bad. She tells me “One second it’s almost in” Are you kidding me??? She gets the hoop in and lets me go and tells me to let her know when she can close it. I asked her for a tissue for my watery eyes and she told me she did not have any??? Unbelievable! I was starting to feel light headed and my whole left side of my face was hurting. She asked me if I was okay and I told her no i feel light headed. I sat there taking deep breaths until I could tolerate her tugging on my visibly bloody and inflamed nose. She closed the hoop and I sat there until I felt safe to get up. I look in the mirror and there is blood all over my nose. I asked for something to clean my nose up and she tells me there is saline solution available at the front for $8. I clarified that I just wanted something to wipe the blood from my nose and she tell me no i don't have anything it’s probably best to just leave it alone! How can you tell me that you don’t have anything to clean blood in a tattoo and piercing shop???? I have been here before and have never left bloody after a piercing appointment. Matter of fact, I know I have been wiped off after being pierced because I was just here a week and a half ago. It’s been about 1.5 hours since I left and my nose is still throbbing. Read moreMy friend and I came in the shop twice in one weekend trying to get a tattoo. The front desk lady was nice but they never seemed to have time to fit us in as a walk in which is understandable but when we asked if she could give us a time or appointment she made it seem as even that was not doable and she took down our phone numbers on a list that she had started for service and stated they would call us when they had time. It’s been about four weeks now and we have yet to receive a phone call. I understand if a walk in could not be taken at the time but we tried to set an appointment time and it felt as if we were blown off and told an appointment is not needed and to just keep checking back. When we came back the next day that is when our phone numbers were taken but as of now no call has been received.

I understand walk ins are not guaranteed which is why I stated in my first response that I completely understood not being seen when I walked in, but my problem is how it was handled. My friend and I were never instructed to visit your website to schedule an appointment with a deposit. We never have visited your website so we were not aware but I would think your employee would’ve mentioned it when we asked to make an appointment instead of making it appear as if we just have to keep checking back and then taking our phone number down stating we would get a call. We have already went to another studio and got our tattoos done there, but as a business I think it is important for your employees to be able to provide basic information as you provided in your response and not take down a phone number that they probably truly have no...
Read moreI got my conch pierced a few weeks ago, and it was healing fine however, new skin started to form and cover my back piece. My back piece was completely covered with skin. I went back to Bodystain to have them look at it, only for the piercer to tell me that I needed to go to urgent care or ER. They couldn’t help me. I wasn’t happy about it, but I went to the closest Urgent care the same day, and they were not able to help me and told me to go to my primary care provider, and they would PROBABLY be able to help me. I panicked because I couldn’t understand why they couldn’t get my piercing out. So I decided to call another tattoo and piercing shop called Evolve Body Art on High Street, and they told me to come in and they would have a look at it. They were able to remove the skin from the back piece by piercing through it and gave me a long bar. I was able to keep my conch piercing and the swollen has gone down and it is healing now. Not sure why Bodystain couldn't just do that. I was told by the Evolve piercer that my skin covered the back piece because they gave me a short bar, and there was no room for my conch piercing to swollen up. I was told by Bodystain piercer that it was probably caused because I slept on it, and I have not for the past weeks. I was very cautious about not sleeping on it because I had also got two other piercing on that ear too that were healing too. If Evolve Body Art were able to fix my piecing for me in a matter of 2 minutes, Bodystain could have easily done this for me, but instead, I wasted a trip down to the urgent care that cost me.
