Gossip and Gloss — Attraction in Columbus

It was one of my favorite places for manicure in Columbus until I received this msg from them “ Hey lady, This is Karolina with Gossip and Gloss. After some evaluation with the team and looking back at all the manicure apt. we’ve provided we think that it will be best if we go our separate ways. We believe we are not the right fit for you and your manicure needs. We hope you find a good place that will meet your manicure needs” and I received it because the last time I did my nails with Karla not Karolina as usual and it was horrible as you can see in the pictures regular polish full of air bubbles cuticles were not cleaned as should be for a dry manicure I also asked for Karla’s recommendation to do regular or gel and she said your nails are short it’s fine to do regular ( if I knew she don’t know how to do the regular one I would definitely refused doing regular nail polish). and I asked for a refund which they did and the other reason probably because I don’t have a consistent or fixed monthly appointment which I have a reason not to as I am a mother for 2 kids under 2 and honestly most of the time I don’t know how my day will Go ! And I have been a client with them for almost 2 years and now getting a text like this is so...

Not a real Russian manicure. I went here over the summer after living in miami where I get russian manicures and I was so disappointed that this was the best option in Columbus. They don’t even get all of your cuticles off i would have to ask them to remove more so it was more like an actual russian and still after that it was still not done well. I’m never one to complain about the cost of something but the prices here are ridiculous for what you get. If i was a getting a perfect russian manicure i would certainly not mind but this is just an average manicure for a crazy price. I get russian mani and pedi in design district miami for less than it would cost for a manicure plus tip here. Last time i got my nails done here it took 2.5 hours and then i am not kidding 3 of my nails broke the same night not even 8 hours after i got them done. I went back the next day to get them fixed but even after that they still broke so much right after i got them fixed. This is not worth your time or money for...

What can I not praise this establishment about!!! Tens all across the board. It is so adorable and relaxing. Very very clean and sanitary practices are above and beyond! I sat in the waiting area. Karolina welcomed me and introduced herself with such a warmth spirit. She made me feel comfortable. I got a mani w extensions. She is a True craftsman! She takes her time, made sure that I was comfortable, did I mention sanitary!!!!, offered me a beverage, I chose water. Karolina is an artist and does not take her skill lightly, we talked and giggled throughout my appointment. Her work and customer service is unmatched.
