Nationwide Children's Hospital Near East Primary Care Center — Attraction in Columbus

Made a trip to this primary care center with a recently arrived refugee mom and her infant daughter. We were impressed with the professionalism and kindness we received the moment we walked through the door. The receptionist quickly had an interpreter on the phone line and gathered pertinent information. An interpreter was online throughout the remainder of the visit. The intake nurse was also efficient, kind and professional. Dr. Lauren Misik was outstanding. She obtained a thorough history and physical exam and provided great education to the mom. This required special patience due to the added time of communicating through an interpreter. She also had an extra person (me) trying to keep a 2 year old sibling occupied during the visit. She appeared to be unfazed by any of this. I would highly recommend this clinic...

Use to be a great facility but now very long wait time. Last 3 months that I have been in and out of this location I have experience very long wait times. My son appointment was at 2:15 it's now 3:31 still waiting. When I ask for an update the nurses stated" it will be another 30-45 min wait. Absolutely, ridiculous and don't value their patients time. If it was Vs we are running 10 mins late they would be trying to reschedule us but it's okay for patients to have to wait hours to be seen. Only giving 2 stars because Dr. Abott and Dr. L is one of the best doctors and my family has been coming here for 18 years. Maybe they should schedule appts an hour apart so they can be on...

I've loved it here but to be honest, a mother knows whats going on with her children so when i went in today because my 10 month old is having an allergic reactions amoxicillin, it got pushed off to a virus. hes had many viruses and all the same and its NEVER created a rash. I'm also allergic to amoxicillin and penicillin so i know whats happening since i get the same rash. i was told they need HIVES before they say its an allergic reaction??? Now he wont stop crying and the only thing making him comfortable is benadryl.... switching to a different...
