03/22/2024 - revisited the Tavern for a family outing. We were able to find available seating to enjoy some dinner and sports. My go to Chicken Nachos (half size) is always delicious! Fun crowd. Stellar service. Free parking available out front and nearby. Good prices. I have visited The Olde Towne Tavern a few times in the last few years and a few times this year. They have one of the best nachos in Columbus. It was great to see David & Valentin (chefs/cooks) still working their magic at the tavern. You may enjoy your cocktails and food indoors and or outdoors. Nice size outdoor patio. Traditional bar decor with semi comfortable seating. The isle seats can be tight on some nights. I had the half size and full size chicken nachos with the works. Still amazingly delicious! Free street parking out front, across the street, and around the corner. Decent prices. Nice happy hour menu and prices. Great service and hip crowd. Cool atmosphere.

Friendly service, and good food! Warning they add a surcharge to any non-cash payment, both credit and debit cards! We went for dinner and we both ordered the French Dip. It is absolutely one of my favorites and it did not disappoint. We also tried the Tavern Nachos with chicken! These things were amazing and a solid choice! Our server was great which added to the experience. Personal view as a consumer, the card fee should be factored into to the cost of doing business. I have seen businesses offer a discount with cash payment which comes across a lot better but business are getting out of hand with the surcharge. I recommend the food, and it’s a great space.

Olde Towne Tavern is a hidden gem on the east side of Columbus. Abundant on-street parking on S 18th. We walked in on a Friday night@8p but it wasn’t very crowded. We sat out on the back patio which was very nice. The nachos (see picture) were as mountainous as we had been told to expect. The waitresses were busy but still attentive. Best of all, they had an organic chocolate stout (see other pictures) that I had not had the pleasure of drinking before. Possibly the best chocolate stout I’ve ever had. All-in-all, a great experience in a comfortable spot that enables good conversation. We’ll definitely be back to explore more of their menu.

very bad experience there from, by the manager Marissa and an employee Dani

. I brought friends in to have dinner and drinks and told to 'get the fxxk out' by Dani. The manager Marissa is horrible with people in general. I am surprised she is still running the place. She apparently is going through a divorce and taking it out on patrons.

She also is always talking poorly about customers behind their backs. She's always doing this every time I am there.

I had been going there regularly for years but she wanted to tell me what I wanted to drink instead of just taking my order. She again is just straight up rude and inconsiderate.

After this I was just thrown my cup of chili by her that had 2 pieces of melted plastic tops in the bottom of the chili that she apparently didn't even look at before adding the chili bc she was apparently ticked off for some reason.

I would hope the district management or owner would take some kind of action to nip this rude behavior in the but.

The people that come there regularly shouldn't be subjected to such treatment, and the staff should be allowed to run the bar like they own it. It was extremely disrespected in front of others when it was almost a full house

Christy, though, is amazing and great at what she does, and so is Darian.

I sent a complaint on the website hopefully I get a response in a timely manner, and they take care of the...

This was our second poor experience in a row at this Tavern and so I feel that others should be made aware. For the sake of time, I will only focus on the most disappointing part which were the wings. I take some of the blame for what happened but the rest is on the staff. The wings were luke warm when they arrived to our table, and rather than tracking down a waitress to have them heated up, I did my best in the darkened atmosphere to ensure that the wings were thoroughly cooked before I ate them. Bad move on my part. My stomach ached for the next 12 hours so much so that I basically lost an entire night of sleep over it. It should be mentioned that all I ate were the wings and I felt perfectly fine before I ate them. Either the wings were undercooked or the chicken was spoiled, but regardless, this doesn’t say much about the Taverns meal preparation procedures. I realize this may be an isolated incident and I hope that it is, but just in case it’s not, be cautious especially with regard to ordering meat. Finally, I MUST say that the service that we received was so bad that it was laughable! Needless to say, we will not be returning here. There are way too many other options in the area and I regret that we gave this one...

2/5 for food. 5/5 for service but I'm here to eat. Friday late lunch. Service was really good, but it wasn't busy so it should be. People were friendly and engaging. Two of us shared the cheeseburger and pepperoni pizza. Cheeseburger was OK, no complaints but wouldn't bring me back. Pizza was not good. This review may be subjective, but I know what I like and this isn't it. First, crust was thick, which I like, but light and flaky and lacked texture and flavor. Almost no sauce, just a hint. I admit to liking a saucy pizza but don't mind modest sauciness if it's flavorful, but this was neither. Sauce totally did not show up. Cheese was similarly undetectable. It was thin (barely there) and the keenest foodie could not have tasted that it was provolone. The only thing that stood out was the mountain of pepperoni. Good pepperoni but way to much, especially when the other ingredients were too meager to balance it. All I tasted was pep on dry crust. Save your money unless that's your thing. 1 on the pizza 3 on the burger gives it a 2...
