I had purchased tickets for nightmare combat and my husband ended up having to have emergency surgery and wanted to see about changing it to another day in August. The owner Nick Francis wrote me back and said that they were all sold out for the remaining events but that I could use it towards the haunted house in haunt season. He gave me the link to the page and when I went there it said I could still buy tickets for the nightmare combat. There were tickets available on 13th, 14th and 15th. I messaged him back and he did not respond. I sent another message and again no response. Now there is only one day available and I tried calling and left a message. Waiting to see if I can get a return call. This is poor costumer service. Sometimes you can’t help with emergencies but they could at least respond. They responded promptly to tell me I could use it for the haunted houses which I have been to. I have no interest in going to again. I wanted the laser tag and clearly was given false information and when I point that out the don’t respond. I paid $100 for the tickets. So, beware.
Update: After a phone call, a message on Facebook asking how to file a compliant and about the time this was all going on did he respond and tell me that he misspoke that it wasn’t because the event was sold out that I can’t change to another day it was because of money that letting me move to an August spot would take away from a new paying costumer. Then again said I can use it towards haunted house. It’s wild the lengths you have to go thru to get a response. I was thankful for the response but could of told me he misspoke and gave me wrong information...
Read moreOverall, the experience as described was "ok". We were given a wave time of 945PM and per the instructions - waited until 940 to approach the door. We approached at 934pm and were told to wait. We did indeed wait, and got into line. Now the expectation is once you get through the front door, you'll be pew pewing. What you don't know is once you are inside you will stand in line again for an hour and half.. by this time, it's after 11pm and for standing and waiting this long - it better knock my socks off. It didn't. The first part is standard HH design with a few people to shoot at thrown in and lots of empty hallways. My wife had a gun issue - to which she inquired about at the halfway mark and was told she was "out of ammo" They switched mags using our cards at the midpoint - however, the gun continue to malfunction just as it had before but it was brushed off then that she had the shot selector "in between" also was not the case - why not just give a functioning gun?. The final boss sequence was rushed, and was not coordinated in any way with the actual use of the guns. This was a 20$ experience with a half hour wait time quality - but not 1.5...
Read moreThis was a great time. Will definitely be coming back next year. It was a bit like playing Doom IRL with the loud music and everything. The actors are professional and work very hard; it definitely seems like everybody enjoys their job.
The process is very streamlined but one recommendation I have is to ask a bunch of questions when you first get your guns, and then take your time in the next room when you're getting your pictures taken. Hopefully the group ahead of you will have enough time to stay ahead of you far enough for the actors to be able to reset for when you get to each room. We had a couple ahead of us that was painfully slow and it def detracted from the experience because we had to keep waiting for them to finish each area, then some time for actors to reset before going in. The group behind us caught up to us as well because we were waiting on them. But that's not the fault of the venue. They really do try hard to make sure that doesn't happen, it's just that some people either don't care or are incapable of doing what is required. I guess those people would be the first to die in the zombie...
