The WORST HAIR STORE IN THE WHOLE OF COLUMBUS ... I was there 2 weeks ago and was disrespected by both their workers so when I left I called to speak with their manager and I kept being rudely hanged up on so I went back to return the things I bought as I will not be putting my money into an a place like that and to make matters even worse, the owners were more concerned about the money they were going to lose rather than hearing me out (even though they told me straight to my face that theyâre making enough money in a day and not losing anything). They even allowed their worker to go back and forth with me and then one of the Asian owners proceeded to disrespect me further on my way out. Mind you, this was a place that I ALWAYS patronized but they didnât care and acted out their shameful acts in front of other customers to the point that the other customers had to tell them to stop being unprofessional. It was a very terrible experience for me. And we as blacks, we are our own biggest downfall because the two employees who started the problem are blacks but those Asians donât care because they know that we are already divided as a people and could care less when our dollar is not involved. I felt discriminated against as I believe that if I was a white woman or another race, I wouldnât have been treated that bad. Without Black money, these Asian Beauty supply owners would be in POVERTY but yet they want to disrespect us to our faces ... and the less than smart ignorant black folks who work there are no better. Never forget who you are especially when you are dealing or working for racist ppl. They are only using you and paying you less than minimum because majority of yâall are not even legal in this country so you just take whatever you can get. These same ppl can spit on you and dispose you at any time. You are no different in their eyes than any other blacks but those workers are too dumb to know that. They are violating major laws just by hiring you guys to work there. It was literally the worst experience and it will surely...
Read moreLiterally just left the store, Iâm a natural hair girly with my own natural hair care brand so I usually donât go to hair stores but my experience here was beyond disgusting. I went into the store with my friend to get a charger since I left mine at home and I live on the other side of town, I decided to take a look around the store since it was my first time visiting. I donât usually wear wigs or weave aside from my occasional box braids so when I saw a section full of wigs I got super excited and started trying on a few. One of the workers approached my friend and I and stated that I wasnât able to try on the wigs unless I came to the front and covered my hair first, which is fine but I declined because I knew that I wasnât going to buy a wig so it just seemed pointless to go through the hassle of covering my hair, etc. I apologized for trying on the wigs because I wasnât aware I wasnât allowed to do that and then my friend and I proceeded to explore the store, but the worker followed us and watched our every move no matter where we went. It was very uncomfortable. I ultimately told my friend, letâs just get the charger and leave because itâs obvious that weâre being racially discriminated against which was very hurtful considering that weâre black and so was the worker. Needless to say it was a very bad hair store experience for me. Again, I own a natural hair care brand. I am not short on money in any way, as a community we need to do better with not being hateful towards people who look like us. I would have been more comfortable shopping at a Chinese hair store than one ran by my own...
Read moreI have been a loyal customer of this store for years, but after my recent experience, I will never spend another dime here. They have no visible signs stating that they have a strict 10-day return policy, yet they refused to take back an unopened product that I tried to return on the ninth day.
I purchased hair in advance of my appointment, only to realize later that it was the wrong type. Since the packages were never opened, I assumed there would be no issue exchanging or returning it. But instead of providing basic customer service, they flat-out refused. No exceptions, no understandingâjust a complete lack of care for the customers who keep their business afloat.
This is exactly why we, as Black consumers, need to stop pouring our hard-earned money into these Asian-owned hair stores. They take our money, offer little to no respect, and couldnât care less about us once the transaction is complete. There was absolutely no reason why they couldnât have accepted this return. Their policy isnât clearly posted, and their attitude toward long-time customers speaks volumes.
Save yourself the frustration and take your business elsewhereâsomewhere that values...
