Whetstone Pond — Attraction in Columbus

This place was truly a surprise. I had time between appointments and just happened upon this “beautiful” spot. Sadly I didn’t have very much time to explore but I saw that there was a rose garden, a bike path, picnic tables that were really spread out (so everyone is not gathered in one spot) a duck pond, a place for fishing and large fields for recreational activities. I made immediate plans to return with my bike and visit again. Though this park is no where near my home I’m quite sure it will be worth the trip and the effort to come get a better look. A Blue Heron that I saw at the park of roses pond. Such a beautiful bird that I've only ever seen pictures of, and I was certainly surprised to see one in person! I'm glad I was there to see it and got to take some pictures of him/her 😊. I just hope that we as a people don't put our planet into worse condition that these beautiful creatures along with others disappear and go extinct like so many have.
