UPFATE 11.06.2023 Rachael was delightful and 5-Star service! I said it was my birthday just 2 days ago... and we were perusing through the menu...low and behold there was PUMPKIN CHEESECAKE with a 2nd tier of durable whipped cream with caramel sprinkles or something tasty embedded in the topping! Linda and I kept looking for something affordable. We came up with their "Triple Deal". They have a Double Deal, too. We really liked the soup, salad, and 1/2 Sub sandwich for $14.99. There was plenty to eat. The Double Deal comes without the soup for $9.99 or $10.99. We enjoyed the ambiance in the Main Room with the bar...along with a very oversize big screen tv showing Monday night football! The ambiance with the "Feel" of being in a country club! The warm feel of executive accoutrements. The rosewood and privacy blinds at every window. Or, take it to the Street! Plenty of scenery sitting high on a balcony protected by stately evergreen. Rachel was very attentive to our drinks and stopping by for our plates. Then, she delivered that Pumpkin Cheesecake - and 2 forks. Need i say more? The downside was loud music that overpowered the sports on tv. BUT, they did get it turned down. The main dining room with the bar has a much better feel! We gave Rachael an $8.00 tip. It was a Sunday night, and my husband and I decided to order out. We placed our order approximately 4:50 p.m. we received email confirmation at 5:01 to pick up our order at 5:26 it would be ready. Now we had to go to another store at the opposite end of town to pick up some medications from the pharmacy we did that first then we went and picked up our food order, to our surprise it was not ready we received a text message stating they were making our food this was approximately 5:29 p.m. so now we're waiting it's start to get later, so at 6:50 p.m. I decided to go inside and find out what was going on I spoke with the manager and he apologized because our food was still not ready and promise to make it right. Now for those of you who want to order online my advice is go inside. Because we were not the only ones waiting for a food for quite sometime there were two other cars outside with us I just do not know how long they were waiting because they were there when we arrived. But the good side to this is the manager did make good on his promise and gave us a refund. the reason for this tragedy I was told they were busy and only had two Cooks When we received the order it wasn't Freshly made this is why I posted the picture. Update: About the refund upon checking our account we noticed that there was an illegal charge on our account and then they reversed that charge to make it look like they gave us a refund. I am letting you know what happened because the manager is doing very shady things with people's accounts and make promises that he surely do not keep watch out keep track of your finances with this Rusty bucket it is located in Clintonville Ohio on North High Street. Very disappointed 😠. Wondering if he made a illegal charge on our card🤔 we will be checking on that. BEWARE!!!!

we made reservations online as suggested. the food was initially, great. it came out of the kitchen fast. nice presentation as well. we ordered french onion soup, sliders with fries, side salad and wings. unfortunately our waitress couldn’t be bothered to bring us refills. once another person, maybe manager? said i’ll grab those for you. and we didn’t get them from him either. but i think the most “yuck” factor of our dining experience was this. when we exchanged pleasantries with our waitress upon seating, she said she was really tired because they just had a rush. This was about 4 o’clock. The entire time that we dined they were cleaning off said tables of “the rush.” We even talked about this about how many people they had back there cleaning off those tables. I watched a waitress take a mustard bottle and she was cleaning the top of it. There must’ve been gunk on the outside of the lid. She then dunked it in to a half drunk glass of water that another patron hadn’t finished! 🤢When that didn’t work, she took a napkin and dunked it into the same half drunk, already slurped, used water and scrubbed the mustard bottle with that. Then she closed mustard bottle up and it was ready for everyone else’s use. I stopped eating at that point as I had used ketchup on my french fries and wasn’t sure if it suffered the same cleaning experience! passssssssss!

Went here for my birthday dinner last night. First time trying food from here. The place looked great inside out. Once inside, we found it quite lively-took us a minute to get seated though. We ordered two buffalo chicken sandwiches (the actual chicken itself was quite good but that wheat bun was a fail), a turkey burger ( my sister said it was good), perogies (none of us liked it), Mexican street corn salad (one of my favs of the night, fried pickles (fantastic if eaten while hot. Hands down our number 1 pic from the meal), and the spinach queso dip). One thing I will note is that it was so cold in the restaurant. We seriously debated on if we should just get our food to go or not. We decided to eat in and was uncomfortable the whole time because of it being cold. Another note- unfortunately, I do not recall our servers name (she totally looks like Brittany Murphy if you see her though) but she was another highlight. Infectious bubbly smile and attitude. Overall the experience here for us was “ok”. The food was ok.

It's a chain, but as far as chains go the food is dependable. Decent predictable atmosphere, the location in high st has an outdoor fireplace. The double nickle salad is actually the old 55 salad from the 55 restaurant group, so that's good. If you're debating between this chain restaurant and some other generic one down the street (like an ocharleys, ruby Tuesday or old bag o' nails), I'd recommend this one. If you could sample one of the small local eateries in the neighborhood, I'd recommend those instead. EDIT: The only thing that really (REALLY) bothers me about the Rusty Bucket is that their soup and salad combo is LAUGHABLE (all caps in case they're reading this). You get a smallish side salad and a literal tablespoon full of soup. Really, I thought it was a ramekin- it's about the circumference of the soup spoon, and I think I got 4 spoonfuls out of it. I'm including a pic of my hand for reference. PLEASE DON'T ORDER IT OR YOU'LL JUST LEAVE ANGRY.

Fish & Chips: wonderfully crispy, both the fish and the fries, but, a little too oily. They put the hot fish on top of the fries before it's properly drained so it makes the fries extra oily. The fish was delicious, just slightly overcooked - still, very good overall, just a little room for improvement. Would I eat it again? Yes. My biggest complaint is how small the coleslaw was. At $20, the price is tolerable, but I don't want to pay more, for a "side" of coleslaw. My waitress was kind and offered to bring me some more [slaw] at no charge - so for that I give them four stars instead of three. 👍 I suppose I'm tired of seeing people give five star reviews for "good" food and a pleasant experience - that should be the baseline, there needs to be room to give a higher rating when the food & experience is EXCELLENT, right? I was not disappointed, but, I still hope to find better 😁
