I was profiled and lied to at this store. I had an online order for a frame and mattress in Kannapolis and the order was canceled. I called the concord big lots to see if they had what I ordered from the other location. I was told they had the frame and the mattress I was looking for. They even placed me on hold to confirm it TWICE! I thanked the woman and said we were on the way. I was there within 20 minutes and after speaking to lady in furniture I was told, only the mattress was left. She was extremely rude and offered no help to find it anywhere else. She just stood there and looked at my husband and I, like we were inconveniencing her. She then finally said the frame they had was on hold for someone else and I âclearly wasnât herâ. RUDE! I said it was probably me bc I just called n they were holding it. The lady said well it wasnât her I spoke w and went and got another girl. Both women walked up and both said they havenât spoke to anyone all day. Lie! Bold face lie! Kimberly was one of the reps name. She was either holding it for herself or a friend bc she would only âclearlyâ know I was/wasnât that person if they didnât know them personally. I said I just called and someone told me they had it and to come to the store. She rudely said âwell, regardless we donât have it.â I was in customer service for YEARS so I was not being rude to her. There was no reason for her bad attitude and rude behavior. I was about to spend $1000+ at this store. The woman had an attitude the whole time. Bad customer service!
