While normally I wouldn't bash a business for their policy, this was a different circumstance. Me and my grandparents placed mobile orders since it was Wednesday and the whoppers we're only $1. The employee who greeted us over the speaker phone was very nice however, they told us that they couldn't do the drive through option if it was more than two orders. Now, this is where I had the issue with this particular Burger King. It was freezing and raining. There was nobody behind us in the drive through lane. The manager I'm assuming told us that we had to come inside to pick up since their policy was that they couldn't do more than two orders through drive through. My issue is why is it only two? Why is it an issue when nowhere on the mobile app does it state that you are limited to two orders if you are picking up in the drive through. I went inside and while I was waiting I asked to change the sprite we had ordered to a sprite zero since that wasn't a option on the mobile app. The employees looked at me but absolutely disregarded what I said, until the young lady bagging the mobile orders acknowledged me and asked me to make sure she heard what I said. (Thank you) To the rest of the employees, and the manager you really need to learn better customer service. Anyways, I know this was long but it was a poor experience for both me and my family.
Update: We went back to this Burger King and the food was all wrong and the food was cold. When we called and asked to speak to the manager the employee who answered the phone said to the manager I'm assuming that is who she was speaking to that she was going to pretend to be a manager. The manager who came to the phone was VERY unprofessional. When my grandmother complained about how the food was wrong and because she was allergic to Onions and couldn't eat it, he told her to stop with the attitude because it wasn't solving the issue and to act like an adult so they could get it resolved. The manager told her to bring the food back and they would remake it. We told them that we couldn't drive back tonight because it's already a 20 minute drive there and back. Read moreI place 2 separate orders. The first order was a double cheeseburger plan just meat and bread. I checked my food b4 I pulled off the burger was messed up. I went in so they can fix it. I waited 15 minutes for a burger to be remade only for it to still be wrong. So I had to come back in. She gave me a refund for the burger and made it herself. (the manager). So now all of my other food is cold my nerds icey had melted. My 2nd order was 2 jr whopper meals. Instead of the cashier telling me I can’t add the icey to the meal he takes it upon himself to ring me up for something else. So when I got to the window I’m asking what’s the difference in the 2 being that i ordered the same thing but I see 2 different prices. He got and attitude with me and told me it was on the receipt. As a former cashier it’s their job to let the customer know what will be a good selection for them instead of just ringing them up without telling them. I tried to do a survey but every time I enter the Code it says it’s invalid. Had I knew i couldn’t add the icey to my order i would have just gotten a regular drink. But he didn’t give me the option or inform me of the difference. Yall need to do better.
