5 stars across the board — food, service, and atmosphere.
We had an outstanding lunch at Washington Street Café. The food was exceptional: the falafel was among the best I’ve ever had—crispy on the outside, moist and herbaceous inside. The pita was thin, crunchy, and wrapped perfectly, keeping everything in place. The gyro was juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. And the baklava? Absolutely on point—delicate, balanced, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious.
The service was just as impressive. The owner made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we walked in. Despite having three small kids, he was kind, patient, and completely unfazed when they were messy. It’s rare to find that level of hospitality, especially as a family dining out. He was friendly, attentive, and answered every question with clarity and care.
The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and family-friendly without sacrificing quality. It’s obvious the place is run with heart and pride, and it shows in every detail.
A true gem in Concord. We’ll definitely be back—and if you’re looking for authentic flavor with top-tier service, this...
Read moreWashington St Cafe, Garrett and their catering team and John and Marie, I cannot thank you enough. The food and service they provided at our wedding on Halloween this past weekend was the best ever. They were kind, attentive, and accommodating when the timing shifted around through out the day as is bound to happen when you plan a wedding on a full moon. Their servers and Garrett were so polite, they made sure there was food from the cocktail hour waiting for my husband and I since we missed it due to pictures. We also had to kind of stage our cake cutting early so the photographers could get it and they jumped into help even though they were already bussing tables and cleaning their line. Instead of a tasting prior to the event our wedding party and my husband and I ordered one of each dinner platter off the regular menu and it was absolutely delicious. I am Egyptian so when your falafel is better than my grandmas, it's a place I know I can trust! I truly cannot thank them enough. I'll see then again...
Read moreReally cute little place almost right across the street from the sud's appeal laundromat on Washington St. A friend and I stopped in for a bite while we were waiting for our laundry to dry. They had sandwiches, panini's, baked goods, baklava, desserts and I also saw a sign that said they offer catering as well. We were helped right away and our food was ready in mins. They have a great menu, not the same old sandwiches you get everywhere which I was happy to see. I chose the mederterainian panini which was amazing and my friend had a pulled pork sandwich and a parfait both of which they enjoyed very much as well! We ate there at a little table inside but, right before we left it became really smokey in there like it was poorly ventilated where they grill or it needed to be cleaned out or something, I'm not really sure. However, other than that, we thought it was great and we were happy we tried it out! Will definitely be eating there again to try something else...
