I signed up spring of last year and stopped going around July/August.
The good: it's a very clean gym and when I go it's usually not crowded which I like.
The bad: Andy was the personal training manager at the time and not at all very present while doing my sessions and I transferred to another trainer. He was nice but I had to cancel due to other costs. When I needed to cancel my personal training, no trainer was there and Andy was gone so I went in and spoke to the sales manager who was a short young girl who already knew me. In short, after how she handled the interaction she's a lot of bad words I just won't say here but she's the most unfit manager I've ever met who refused to help. Calling in corporate was such a nightmare and I got no help until I opened a case and finally got reimbursed through corporate side of the company.
Closing thoughts: it's a nice clean gym but the hours aren't too convenient and DONT sign up for anything out of the minimum requirements to go. Don't even sign up for a membership here. Do it at another location if you choose 24hr fitness (which isn't even 24 hours). It's not worth anything beyond just going in for your workout and done. I went to another gym where I'm getting my...

This is an update to my previous review. I’ve been a member for over 2 years, and the ongoing lack of maintenance at this location is unacceptable.
Over half the StairMasters are out of order, the ab machine has been broken since February, and several treadmills and cable machines are either non-functional or unsafe to use. Machines squeak, bands are worn out, and parts don’t lock in properly—posing a potential safety hazard to members.
I spoke with the manager weeks ago and was told parts were ordered, but delays stretch for months. Meanwhile, the Laguna Niguel location was fully remodeled—so corporate clearly has the resources but chooses not to invest here.
Even simple issues, like a clogged sink in the women’s restroom, took weeks to address. That problem was eventually fixed, but only after it had been ignored for far too long—just like the gym equipment.
This level of neglect shows a lack of accountability and concern for member safety. Corporate needs to step up and...
Read moreUntil yesterday I had not used this 24 Hour gym in about a year. I use to go more regularly, and I still spoke highly about the ease and convenience of the facility. I was surprised that each time my daughter came home to visit she would complain how hot and stuffy the gym felt. She said the 24 gym was very tired and needs a facelift. I thought she was a bit dramatic. Unfortunately, my daughter was not. After my visit to the 24 Hour gym yesterday I can understand my daughter's feelings. The gym looks like they have more equipment but the machines are smashed together within inches of the other machines. The temperature in the gym feels like a steam room and lacks ventilation. The equipment, the restrooms all seem to have a grimy feel. It feels like everything in that gym needs a good scrubbing. Sadly, I only lasted twenty-five minutes in the gym. The heat and the odor of the gym were too much. Ladera Ranch is such a fabulous location. Hopefully, 24 Hours can spruce...
