I really enjoyed painting pottery at All Fired Up. They have a great selection to choose from, even if it’s a little pricey. What ruined the experience for me was poor advice I was given. I was told that if I used black sharpie on my piece, it would burn off and not be on the finished product. I spent over 6 hours painting my colorful design on a geometric unicorn. Before paining, I used sharpie to the write what color I would paint each square (B for blue, O for orange, etc). I was so excited to see how it turned out. To my dismay, when I went to pick up my unicorn after it was fired I’m the kiln, there were letters etched into each square where the sharpie had been. When it burned off it took the paint right with it. I was told that maybe I hadn’t painted three coats, but I know that I did (hence why it took 6 hours). The staff did give me 50% off my next purchase which I appreciated, but it couldn’t really replace the time, heart, and money ($44) that I put into my pottery piece. I left feeling really disappointed.

We went to All Fired Up on a Saturday night and it was packed. If you could it's best to do a reservation. We were able to get a spot just walking in but reservation would have been better. We enjoyed the time we had. It was our first time and we had a ball. So you get a chance to pick the item you want to paint or if you are experienced they have the clay modeling section. They have all the supplies you need and can think off. This is a great place to show off your creativity or just a good stress relief. Also remember you will not get the item back the same day since it has to be put in the oven.We will be back very soon. GREAT DAY OUT WITH THE KIDS!!

If you are looking for a full service party venue, this is not it.

My daughter attended a paint party here last year and really enjoyed it so we looked into it for her birthday. Her newest hobby is pottery and we were delighted to find that they have a party option where you can shape clay instead of just painting the pre-made ceramics.

I was informed that they would be “free” to shape the clay as they wished and make a variety of items. Cool. I did not realize they would receive NO direction. A table of 8-9 year old girls was each given a lump a clay, a bowl of water, a few shaping tools and a sheet of paper that advised them to make sure whatever they were shaping was between 1 cm and 1 inch. The “attendants” hung out in back room and we were advised not to have parents or additional non-participants stay on premises. So basically my husband and I were left with a dozen kids, a table of mud and no help.

For the price, I could have had a party elsewhere with a “host” that directed the activity. My daughter has experience with clay and if they’d given ANY ideas/direction/help AT ALL this could have been a great experience for the kids and parents alike. I doubt most of the pieces will survive the kiln because the kids weren’t able to just dream up a viable idea from scratch. I’m so annoyed and...

The experience itself was fine. Staff were just OK, except one older lady was rude anytime I talked to her. The part that warranted the low review was that they forcibly made me pay $30 for shipping the pottery when they could have just handed it over to me. They were closed when I went to pick up the pottery (unbeknownst to me… they should have made it known in some manner that they absolutely would not let anyone in). They had some plumbing issues, and they said it was too dangerous to come in. That’s fine. Why can’t they just hand the pottery over? Since we’ve already paid for it, that seems unethical at best, especially because they decided to close down their business to the public, making it impossible for people to pick up their products. I am from out of town, and I was flying out that same night so coming back was not an option (not to mention the 1.5 hour drive I already took to get there). I called them and they were rude and absolutely refused to hand me the pottery which was a few feet away… but they allowed me to come in to pay for the $30+ shipping so it would get to my house … Extremely unethical business practices and bad owners!!! I would not recommend unless you live close by and can easily go back to get the pottery (barring another...

Worst experience EVER!! Let me say my first experience at this establishment was a lot of fun and I had a great time but upon making an attempt to schedule a large party for a clay class it has been the WORST!! I called two weeks ago to schedule a clay class and was given all the details for scheduling I confirmed with a group of 15. I attempted to utilize the website to place and reservation and it was not working so I called. The manager I spoke with told me it would take 3 weeks to order clay for the pottery class which the website does not mention neither did the previous representative. I explained my frustration with what I assumed was the manager as I had already confirmed with 15 ladies for this event! I was informed to come at 5pm with my party and I left a message to confirm! The DAY of the EVENT I called to confirm the reservation only to be told by a representative there is NO CLAY!!! Stay away from this location for any larger scale plans as they have no communication within there establishment and do not value proper planning or respect the time of their customers to plan. Such a...
