After getting burned 3 times, I've switched jewelers and haven't looked back. #1) Bought a brand new pair of very formal earrings with omega backs. Wore them for the 1st time to a wedding and lost one while simply standing around. Sent off for a replacement, and the replacement arrived with a gummy sleeve backing as if it had failed to be included with the initial purchase. There was obviously an issue with the hinge, but the request for a discount on the replacement was denied. #2) Ordered a new ring from them and when I wore it the first day, I noticed a prong was wonky. When I finally got around to bringing it back, they accused me of damaging it and charged me for the repair. #3) The stone in the #2 ring shifted so it wasn't straight. Brought it back to get it reset correctly and they never could get it to sit straight, yet charged me for the repair. Brought the ring elsewhere and their benchie set it properly. I think a lot of these issues are due to the old adage, "they don't make things like they used to" but with the amount of business my family has given them I would have expected better service after the sale. Update: Anton’s claims they don’t see “records of transactions,” which is a pretty lame deflection so I’ve added a photo of my receipt and items that prompted me to take my business elsewhere. All of the other jewelry I’ve purchased there has worn fine which is why I say the improvement is needed with service...
Read moreOver the course of a few years, my wedding ring has lost FIVE round diamonds & TWO side mounted trapezoids, and had the ring completely remade because the shank/band completely SPLIT in half on the top. All of the diamonds were replaced at my cost. Finally, I asked for some resolution in exchanging the ring for something of comparable value only due to the repetitive loss of stones. Just something. Antons decided against that. The ring setting is clearly FLAWED, yet they offered no assistance with me in an amicable solution. My thought is that they got their money from the sale of the setting (& all of the lost diamonds), so no need to worry about me anymore as a little peon customer. It appears to me that Anton’s does not understand what a quality setting is because they will not own-up to the fact that they had a flawed setting for an engagement ring in their store. It is sad that my beautiful ring that should represent joy, will just be locked away because it is not wearable; all it’s going to do is probably keep losing stones. 0/5 for doing business with Anton’s Jewelry.

Read moreMy husband brought my white gold wedding set there to have it rhodium plated before our anniversary. All they did was clean it. No part of the ring was rhodium plated. I called and told them it appeared to only have been cleaned and I already had it cleaned before allowing him to bring it there. They didn’t believe me when I said it was not rhodium plated and said to bring it in again. I personally brought my set in. Showed the salesman and he was surprised, but said nothing. I showed him the receipt from the day before. He said it would take 5 minutes to run it through again and to wait. After exactly 5 minutes, it looked exactly the same. All minor scratches still visible and clearly visible yellowing. The salesman said his wife’s antique ring doesn’t take rhodium plating well. My ring is not an antique and proper rhodium plating eliminates any minor scratches especially on solid surfaces of white gold. They offered no refund for the poor quality service. I’m disheartened to say I do not recommend Anton’s and regret purchasing...
