Batteries Plus — Attraction in Lawrenceville

I’ve been going to Batteries + Bulbs for over 20 years. I have lifetime battery replacement for 8 devices, two of which I got lifetime replacement within the last 6 months. Never any issues. Found out that the store near my house is now only a commercial distribution center and the two closest stores are about 40 minutes away. Drove to one to get the batteries changed for 6 of my devices, because now that it is not close to my house, I won’t be going every time I need one replaced. They couldn’t find my lifetime for 3 of the devices. On two garage door openers…neither worked when I got home. I bought new batteries elsewhere and now they work. They were not helpful. Not great customer service to sell lifetime replacement and then close the store that’s anywhere close to me, and then not being able to find some of the lifetime devices. Lost...

Went in looking for a cell phone battery. Jason the store owner was extremely helpful, located battery needed, installed it for me and verified the phone was working before we closed the purchase. I had a couple of other questions as to light bulb issues and problems with some halogen units purchased from a big box store. He was very helpful offering me suggestions for things to check with the halogen bulbs and potential replacements. Did not try to upswell me, which I appreciate, just very helpful and very friendly. I will be back to shop...

Update- Manager was helpful and let me have the core back. So i increased star rating. Just make sure you check the battery you receive and make sure it matches what you give them. They seem to cap off negative terminals rather than positive which is not normal. Got battery with swapped terminals which would not work last Sunday. Only got a refund for battery minus core fee. But I returned the core. Bring your own hand truck to move the battery as they don't have any nor willing to help...
