Though not an option, zero stars apply here! Walk into the place and you know something's "off." No customers except for one (across three separate visits). Decor right out of the 90s. And a miserably limited selection. One salesperson. We had been searching for a Nectar Premier mattress online but really wanted to try one out in person. Unfortunately, this store popped up on a search. They only had the base model which was Ok, but not firm enough. So we went ahead and ordered the premier model, as the salesperson Shawn said they could get it in a day or two. And thinking that if it didn't work out, we could just return it. We asked if the store handled a return the same way as Nectar would and were told yes, they had the guarantee as well. Nectar provides for a complete money-back, no-questions online return within 365 days if you're not satisfied. So we had no reason to doubt Shawn. The first warning sign we had was when he got all nervous and flustered that the store's price was incorrect online, so he'd be selling the mattress for $150 less. And then he tried to intimate that we'd come to the store because of the price difference, rather than the ability to take a "test drive." After a month or so we realized the mattress was not right for us and called the store to make a return. That was when we were shocked to hear that although we were told one thing verbally, we must've "misheard" and the only option is their so-called "comfort guarantee." You have 100 days to make a return for something of equal or lesser value. No money back. And delivery fees apply. That's provided you do not want a Serta which they have none of, or a Sealy which they have very few of. We felt incredibly misled and the only response from Shawn was a chuckle and a firm statement that their guarantee is "in the contract." Apparently our good faith conversation meant nothing. And he also told us that we could "go ahead and try" to reach to store owners, but it "doesn't matter" because "everything stops with me." He refused to provide even a name or number. And indeed, registered mail to the owners was completely ignored - no response. In a completely cagey manner, they had someone else first name-only sign for it. Or it was completely forged. We even offered to return the mattress plus "buy out" the contract at 20% of the cost. Shawn would not even take that to the owners. As a result, we moved the mattress to our guest room - where it wasn't needed at this time. And were forced to purchase a second mattress for our own use at another retailer. Had we done business with Nectar directly, we'd have received all our money back within 2 weeks and not had to make two costly purchases at one time, one of which was completely unnecessary. This was a horrible and very costly experience that anyone acting in good faith should not have to deal with. And it's a sad commentary on small business when in addition to a superior selection, we receive better treatment from a large retailer than a family-run business. Read moreI wish I could give negative stars.I bought a mattress here because reviews were good.Everything was ok until they delivered the mattress.The mattress was very stained so when the delivery drivers initially saw it they said they could not take it in their truck saying it was considered contaminated.The one delivery driver said he felt bad.I told them they would have to take the new one back to the store until I could figure out how to dispose of the old one.He told me to hold on and made three different phone calls plus pictures to see if he could take it.After the third call he said we can take it and I was so grateful.They wrapped it in the plastic from the new mattress.I tipped them for being so nice and they headed out the door.A few minutes later I went outside to take out the trash and it was propped up against the garage door.Im like "what"? I called the salesman Shawn who sold me the mattress and told him what happened.He told me he'd find out what happened and call me back which is what he did.I asked him what time the drivers were coming back and he said they weren't taking the mattress because of contamination.That is not what the drivers told me! Shawn and I went round and round.He even asked me if they were going to take it why didn't they.Good question!I told him that if they would've just said no the first time I would've understood but they made 3 phone calls and then said yes.Shawn pretty much called me a liar even though he wasn't there.But if the answer was no to taking it why would prop it outside against the garage door without even asking me where to put the old one.Shawn said I should've known they couldn't take it, that that's just common sense.Alot of other rude and derogatory remarks were made but there are too many to mention.I saw another review where he was rude the same way.I ultimately think that the drivers pretended they were going to take it because I told them to take the new one back to the store until I could figure out what to do with the old one.Anyway, Shawn asked me how come they didn't take the old one.I told him they walked out with it and I stayed inside.I didn't know I had to follow them to make sure they were doing their job.Anyway all tthey should've done is said no to taking it right up front and I would have understood.They took a situation that really could have been avoided.I would have been ok except for 2 things.Telling me they would take it and then leaving it outside without my knowledge.Thats how I know that they lied.It could have all been avoidable.But Shawn definitely has no business being in customer service.So nasty and defensive! Read moreWe purchased a king tempur pedic bed at this store and had great service. The manager, Shawn, was very helpful. The bed is great but we were unhappy with the height. Shawn investigated what the options were and sent the crew out the next day to switch out the legs. Unfortunately, after a couple of days we felt the bed was now too low. My husband is not well and his caregiver developed back pain caring for him at that low level. I once again called Shawn and he was very accommodating. This was a friday afternoon. On Monday Shawn called the warehouse to see if they had legs in stock that were in between the two previous heights. They did have them and his team came out to again switch out the legs. We did have to pay for the new legs themselves but we were not charged at all for the labor either time. Great customer service. Many other businesses would have just blown us off. If not the first time then certainly the second. We would certainly do business...
