I wanted to take a second because my boyfriend and I truly love this store to leave a review. I read a couple of reviews about visitors feeling like they're being discriminated against due to the employees offering to hold their items. While understandable, I don't believe this was their goal as both my boyfriend and I look white and have been offered on numerous occasions by different associates on different visits if we wanted them to hold our items at the counter.
With that being said, I truly love this store, and we drive from Lakeland (45 minutes - 1 hour) to visit at least once a month. I think it's a fantastic experience to shop in 100 small shops and see the diversity of products. We love that products are continually changing, so every experience is different. We also love those employees that remember our faces and greet us everytime while sharing new finds throughout the store.
Truly an incredible experience, and we are so excited to continue to...
Read moreI loved this store! The concept is fantasticâsuch a great way to support local businesses and bring something unique to the community. The girls working there were kind and helpful, and I found so many great gift items for different people.
The only feedback I have is about the price stickers. Many of them were difficult to remove, and in some cases, they left behind residue or damaged the itemâs finish, which took away from the overall presentation and made the items look a bit cheap which is sad considering the cost. It would be great if there were an alternative, like easier-to-remove labels or even cute cover stickers provided to help preserve the look of the items. I will consider this when shopping for items there in the future.
That aside, I hope this small suggestion is helpful and I truly hope this business thrives! I...
Read moreAs my husband and I chose a product & started carrying it, going through the store after 5 min. An employee went to me, to ask if she could hold it for us. (Mind you, there was plenty of customers in the store carrying their chosen product⌠& coincidentally we where the only latinos in the store).
As well, I did had my worst shoes on, since they where dirty⌠so I guess my appearance didnât âfitâ their regular customer & may have gave them a negative impression over my character & for that matter may be the reason to âhelp usâ by hold the merchandise.
Definitely didnât felt to great on my first visit & made me feel belittled. Hopefully there could be something to change such approach for future customers & diversity training.
Would give 0 âď¸ stars, but google doesnât have...
