Boardroom Hairstylists — Attraction in Vinings

I have had 5 color sessions to dye my hair red since January and this is the FIRST time I got exactly what I wanted and left completely satisfied. Sami did SUCH an amazing job, and should get even more commendation because I have a lot of hair - I wouldn't be happy, but I could not have blamed her if she had half-a**ed it towards the end. It's so much hair. Instead she did a phenomenal job all 3 hrs I was there, and I am the happiest I've been with my hair color.

I will say it did cost more than I was expecting, but: I'm new to coloring my hair and so I'm unfamiliar with standard costs, I had full highlights + toner + a cut and probably a few other things I'm forgetting. No matter what it is well worth it and it's better to pay for someone who knows what they're doing rather than get a cheap job and look...well, cheap. I've only been once so far but I do feel confident in saying if you go here that will NOT happen.

Sami clearly cares about the health of your hair above all, and Donna wants to make sure you're going to leave with what you want, which is good because if she hadn't explicitly said that I might have left unhappy with a darker root again simply because I didn't want to make a fuss, and I was also super tired and not explaining myself well. Sami is also NOT scissor happy, so if you say "just a trim" you'll get just a trim unlike some places that take off 3 inches 🙃

This is the first salon I tried since moving here and I'll keep coming back as long as I'm welcome! I was super nervous given previous, disappointing experiences I had with a different salon for color as well as having to get a new stylist after having the same person cut my hair since I was 16, but there is absolutely nothing to be nervous about here. They'll take care of you.

What a great bunch of people!!! Sami and Donna are amazing!!! My youngest daughter visits me every Summer, and like most girls her age, hair is everything. She wanted to have her hair professionally done. I researched and educated myself as much as a single dad could possibly do and chose their salon due to the excellent reviews and the stylists’ backgrounds in their profession. We went for a consultation since my daughter box colors her hair and I wanted to be sure she was going to receive what she wanted and not leave disappointed. They were very up front with what she could expect and what work they would have to perform to get her to ideal. For her, Saturday couldn’t get here fast enough. We showed up a few minutes early and Sami was all set for her and started right away. What would have been a long and boring wait time for me turned into a wonderful time. Donna’s husband was there and they treated me like family and were just so friendly. I was so impressed with their work I made my own appointment to have my haircut there. I’ll let my daughter put in her own words how she feels about her hair. I was super stoked to have my hair done by Sami. I was looking forward to it all week and I wasn’t disappointed. They told me what all they could do and they did the best they possibly could and it turned out wonderful. they offered me shampoos, and conditioners, and an after spray. I can’t wait to use them!They were super super friendly and made me feel super comfortable without having to speak up all the time. Sami was just the sweetest ever and handled my hair carefully, and Donna was just the sweetest can be and so outgoing. The salon just felt like a home. When moving to a new city I had to leave my old hair stylist behind. I loved her and all the things she would do for me. Free dye jobs, discounts on products, fun conversations all the perks. Sara has also known me for years, so I can't exactly compare.

I looked up a good place to get my hair done here in Atlanta and stumbled upon this amazing little charm in the wall hair salon located in an office park.

The outside it looks nothing, special but when you go inside you realize you are in a little underground wonderland of all things hair. Theres a wall of hair products that they use in the salon and a list of all the services they offer.

I got all checked in and then was able to meet my new hair stylist Kaundra . She brought me back to her little corner where I sat in a chair and we discussed what I wanted to do with my hair. I wanted something simple to start off. Just wanted to chop 2-3 inches off. I figured if I was starting with a new stylist I wanted to see how she could do with a simple hair cut at first. (As a trial run).

I was telling her that I have recently noticed that my hair is getting very frizzy and there is a lot of breakage. She asked me if I have ever used any hair oil in my hair and I said no. She later explained that when you put hair oil in your hair it will tame the hair down because when your hair gets frizzy, its because the hair is wanting to grasp onto moisture. So instead it grasps the moisture that is in the air. I did not know this prior.. so I learned something new today.

Overall, it was a great first run with a new hair stylist. I really enjoyed my time here with her. I will be back for sure. I do have highlights/dye in my hair currently so when that washes out then I will need to go back to get it put back in. Can't wait to see what she does when it comes to...
