This place was pretty good I definitely enjoyed the atmosphere and the vibe. The entertainment was great. It's a great spot to go out with some friends or with your significant other. If I had any complaints I would say that I don't like that they automatically add gratuity even if you are not in a large party. I do not like the fact that they charge such a high price for a small amount of food I literally had 1.5 tablespoons of collard greens. I feel like the value is not good because the amount of food that I received for the price was very unbalanced. They can definitely work on presentation of the food the picture that you see with my $32 plate came to me just like it looks in this photo I have not touched it or moved anything so to me the presentation was very poor and again the portion was very small for $32. Overall I still enjoyed myself and I think it's a very good vibe I enjoyed my drink as well I thought their drinks were very good and our server was amazing unfortunately I cannot remember his name but I thought that he was great he took care of us and he was very attentive. I would definitely go back again maybe not for food but for drinks and entertainment for sure and even though the food was not worth the amount charged it did taste pretty good.

Gone here a few times and can say we had a good time each time. First time, brought my daughter here for her 33rd bday. The show started at 8pm. I started seeing more older people coming in and thought that the crowd was more for senior citizens! I felt like I made a mistake for her, but it turned out ok after seeing people in their 35 and up to appear! Overall, after ordering food and drinks, listening to the live performance we enjoyed ourselves! The shows are from 8-10pm. They need later shows for the night-life crowds! It’s just getting dark by 10pm and then it’s over! That’s good for the older crowd, but what about the younger crowd??! Few months later, second time, came back with my fiancé. This time was better bc Tony Terry was performing! Show was from 8-10pm and only show that night. He did great! Found out they have 10pm-12am shows time to time. Drinks were decent, food fresh and ambience was relaxing. Btw, free parking (unlike ATL)!! So if yr looking for a nice date night, hanging with the girls or couples night, try this place out! Check out the website to see who’s performing that night. Ticket prices are reasonable too!

Great new venue for music! Although we didn't have dinner, they have an interesting menu, and dinner and appetizers are served in the large theatre as well as the dining room . Tables are assigned when you purchase tickets, but it doesn't seem like there's a bad seat in the house. There's a small bar area too, and drinks were good ( especially if you like the sweeter side of alcohol) . Service was impeccable, and very personable. And, there's lots of free parking, which was convenient. Adam Hawley was great, and I look forward to more jazz shows. My only negative was the sound. It's a hard room acoustically, and could use some softening up. The keyboards disappeared, and the vocals were muffled, while the drums were over mic'd and tended to overwhelm the room. Two tops , where we sat, were right in front ( which is great for sightlines, you felt as if you were on stage with the performers!) so maybe that was the issue, but I think it was more the sound mixer's fault.I'm still giving them 5 stars, because while sound is important in a music venue, it takes time to find the sweet spot, and it's a new venue.

Finally…. To have such exceptional service that I wasn’t irritated at the automatic gratuity, was refreshing. Friendliness and helpfulness from the time we walked in to the time we left.

Our waitress, Shae, was exceptional! She came to our table in a reasonable tone, made food and drink suggestions. She was impressive because we never had to ask for refills or look around for her. Even while the show was going on, she would slide right on up with water - very accessible. The food system was very organized and came out quickly.

Those eggrolls were delicious, but done be fooled into thinking it’s the same greens in the eggrolls as what you will get as a side item. It’s not…… the side greens are amazingly seasoned and buttery to just melt in your mouth! The sweet potato casserole was very good- flavorful and the natural flavor was not lost into artificial sweetness. The salmon bites were seasoned and fried well; however, you may want to ask for them to be a little less done, if you prefer your salmon more on the medium side; however, although well done e, they were not dry and had a tasty remoulade to go with it. I wasn’t mad about them and still really enjoyed the bites. The green beans were partying in my mouth, and the mash potatoes were real skinned potatoes with a perfect amount of butter and garlic. The chicken was juicy with a really flavorful hot sauce (seemed to have a sweet profile) to it.

Now, the catfish - it was fried well; however, admittedly, since I am from St Louis, I grew up on MS-river catfish, so I am becoming increasingly disappointed with catfish at many places. This was no exception. The texture of the fish did not seem like regular thick meaty catfish, so I guess it was just one of these new types of fish in the “catfish” family. So, although well fried and tasty enough, I didn’t finish my fish because the texture through me off. Maybe it was swai? Anyway, that’s a personal preference for me, so I would absolutely still recommend the food here. Everything was delicious!

The ambience, generally was very nice. Shout out to having some space. You could move your chair without hitting someone. You can put your purse on your chair without hitting putting it on someone else’s chair. You can talk to your table without talking to someone else’s! It is a nicely spaced! Again, I appreciate the owners caring about the comfort of the guests and allowing the waitresses/waiters space to move about.

I absolutely enjoyed the entertainment. CJ was excellent. The room is arranged so everyone is able to see the stage. For those that rave about City Winery, I think the seating arrangement is much better! It’s an intimate setting that doesn’t force you on strangers’ laps!

Oh, and honestly, the prices are on par with other upscale dinner / dining venues. Quite frankly, the cover fee is very reasonable and minimum purchase requirement for this type of entertainment (live music) makes the experience very accessible. The experience is worth more than what is being charged. And, let’s be real, food is high everywhere, so… I can’t say anything negative about the pricing. I felt the portion sizes were reasonable and the taste, service and plating aesthetic matched the price.

I have hesitated to make this ride to Marietta in the past, but now that I went, I will make it again! This was an awesome evening - great food, great service, great entertainment, great atmosphere (clean spacious bathrooms!!!!), great date, great time! Cant wait to come back

In conclusion, I really appreciate the hard work that the owners and managers and all supporting staff are doing. There is clearly an intentional commitment to give their...

The food really did taste great. The problem is when good food is mixed with terrible service from start to finish. Upon arrival I tell the hostess I am here for dinner (no reservation). She proceeds to tell me I can wait in the seating or at the bar- but doesn’t offer to take my name. I had to ask. So my name goes on the clipboard. She tells me 15-20 min wait. So sitting at the bar- the bartender questioned us like twice about basically if we were doing dinner or not. Finally offered me a drink menu 10 minutes later. Then the first drink I request, she laughs and says “oh we haven’t had that drink in a long time.” Well how am I supposed to know that yall don’t have chocolate martini’s?? So 30 minutes later I make my husband get back in line to inquire about our table. He sees the list and my name is scratched off as if we were seated. Nope 👎🏾 im sitting at the bar and you see 👀 me. But she basically is like oh yeah I can seat you now- the whole time we been sitting at the bar there have been 4 empty tables for two. So why wasn’t I seated already? I watched another couple do the same thing.

So then I order another drink at the table. We order appetizers. 35 minutes later not a drink or an appetizer. Waitress keeps telling us she’s checking….finally she brings it and it’s the wrong drink. She’s all confused and shocked as if she didn’t take the order. Apps taste great when they finally arrive. Then the food arrives and the catfish, greens and Mac are delicous. The lamb was good too, except my husband doesn’t eat heavily salted food so he ordered no salt. Clearly the chef salted the lamb when it was finished cooking. You could see big flecks of sea salt. Mashed potatoes with the lamb were so-so. Yams were good. So at this point I’ve been at the restaurant for 3 hours and since getting our food the waitress has not checked back on us. When she does come back she’s appalled that there’s salt on his food and proceeds to show us that she put in no salt. She says she’ll get the manager. Manager doesn’t come. 10 minutes later as the waitress comes back around to check she’s once again appalled that no manager has come. So we’re really quite irritated by now. Manager never comes , I guess is too busy to address a unsatisfied customer. Waitress takes the plate and she does offer to put in a new order but we decline. I had asked for a box, she never brought it. Then she brings the check and it still has the Margarita on it that I sent back because it wasn’t frozen like I requested . Again she’s all over the top like “you never got your Margarita?” It just was all a mess from top to bottom. I feel like they definitely cater to the folks who have the live performances reservations and then the other walk in folks are just an after thought. I am a pretty patient person but by the end I was just like get me out of here. All of that and you got an automatic 20% gratuity from me. Nah the service wasn’t there. I am calling in tomorrow because I was trying not to be a butt, but seriously the manager wouldn’t even come...
