Phil is an awesome guy to deal with. I had been looking for the perfect classic for my dad and I and looked nationwide. Being originally from Texas dad and I had settled on a pickup truck with an ls swap. Then the task was to find it. I came across carcraft classics during my endless search and noticed they always had the cleanest and meanest looking square bodies available as well as some other vintage as well. I reached out to Phil about an ls swapped 72 c10 but by the time I had he had already sold it. He told me what other options he had and once we discussed did not try to force me into something else. While he had a number of nice trucks only two fit the bill. A 58 apache and a 84 c10. I was set on the apache but in discussing it with Phil he told me honestly that while the 58 was a badass truck, the 84 would be better suited for comfort in cross country trips and being able to do the speeds my residence requires (80mph speed limit on i80). He could have made more money on the apache but he knew it probably wasn't the right fit. Once we discussed price he had given me a price higher than what he had told me the first day, which when I pointed it out he agreed and honored the lower price without any pushback whatsoever. He didn't have to, I would've still bought it but he did it because thats who he is. I ended up ordering a set of wheels through him as well and he kept me updated throughout the process. He's a car guy with a passion , and he just happens to sell them too.
One side note. Remember when buying a classic car these aren't 2020 models. No matter how nice and how buttoned up they are you WILL find flaws. Thats not any fault of Phil as he is upfront and does his best to indicate and make you aware of any issues the vehicle might have (in my case he even had a new limited slip put in because it wasn't to his standards) but these cars are old. They have quirks. As much as you want to they will come to surface. Tinkering those quirks is part of the classic car experience. So please understand that when buying. I say that as a car guy who has bought and sold my share over the years. That being said if you buy from Phil he will get you the closest thing to perfect as you can get in a classic ride. Thanks...
Read moreI can’t express enough how grateful I am for the help Phil provided in finding the perfect 1969 Camaro for my wife’s 40th birthday. I had a clear vision of what I wanted, but I knew that finding a quality car would require expertise. From the moment I reached out to Phil, he made the entire process so easy and enjoyable.
Phil was incredibly communicative, always keeping me updated and answering any questions I had. He was honest and transparent throughout, which gave me peace of mind, especially as we started what we thought would be a simple search. What I didn’t realize was that finding a 69 Camaro that met my high standards wasn’t going to be easy. As time went on, it became clear that it would take more than just a quick search to find a car that truly checked all the boxes.
I really appreciated how patient Phil was, sticking with me throughout the process, even as it became more challenging. He was diligent in helping me weed out cars that had red flags, and he made sure that I wasn’t just settling for the first car that came along. It was evident that Phil wasn’t just trying to make a sale. He genuinely cared about helping me find the right car. His knowledge of classic cars was invaluable, and he was focused on ensuring we got the best car possible at a fair price.
When we finally found the perfect Camaro, I could not have been happier with the result. My wife was beyond thrilled, and it’s safe to say that this car was the perfect gift to celebrate her milestone birthday. Thanks to Phil’s dedication, expertise, and unwavering support, we were able to get a car that exceeded all our expectations.
