Chatta Box Boutique — Attraction in Metairie

I wish I could give 0 stars. I called on September 15th and spoke with Michelle who was very helpful. I went to the store on September 29th and asked for Michelle. She was not in the store so Desiree assisted me. She looked up the dresses I was interested in and said she could order either dress. When other customers came into the store she gave them her undivided attention and left me standing there. After about an hour she said she would take my measurements. Well, she then couldn’t locate a tape measure. She said she’d call or text me the next day once located. It’s been 8 days and I’m still waiting. I called the store earlier and spoke with Michelle. I told her what happened and she apologized but made excuses about them misplacing tape measures. I ordered my dress from The Red Carpet and received excellent service. My money is green and spends just like anyone else’s. Do yourself a favor and...

Called this location as well as the Baton Rouge location and the dress that I was looking for was only my at this location. My mother and I drove 45 minutes to the boutique only to not be greeted upon arrival nor asked for assistance unlike other shoppers. We looked at a couple dressed and help ourselves to the fitting room it was then after we tried on a dress on that a lady asked if we needed help and it was her first day working there. Once we finished I then spoke with a store representative and told her I called in the previous week looking for a particular dress. She remembered but I kindly explained to her that the disregard of me and my mother in the store was not professional. Please do better! I am new to the area and had spotted this shop as I passed by and made an effort to 'go see'. What a BIG disappointment. My fiance and I entered the shop, un-greeted and ignored for 15 minutes and saw other people enter after us and given a warm welcome. Eventually I had to stop an assistant named Desiree to ask for some service. I asked if she could look up a couple of dresses of which I had the stock number. She pretended to search on her computer and said in a sarcastic manner that I must be looking at old stock which no longer existed. I knew already that was not the case. She was off-hand and was not at all interested in having our custom. Quality clothing, but over priced and rude un-professional staff. They do not deserve even the 1 star...
