The putt putt is disappointing. Overpriced but what really made me angry after the over 70 somthing dollar charge to play (2 kids 2adults) then they have the nerve to (Auto-Gratuity) and sneak in another 14 dollar fee! But wait, they have another place to add another tip on the receipt! But the original 14 was not optional... ok so then I said eh, its family time, maybe the course is nice, and I can practice my golf game.... nope they had so much trash on the turf/greens the balls bounced around everywhere.. and trash at every bench on golf course and very lumpy/moundy holes nothing our kids/family enjoyed. (13boy,14girl) They said they only part they liked was being with family, and the game of cornhole we played outside tin cup after putt putt. So then we figured lets hit a few shops... all female oriented boutiques and the first thing I grabbed was a 8oz coffee cup for 55$.... unbelievable... the park was pretty and parking was easy... might be good for a concert but if shopping bring...
Read moreWas at the Tribute to Michael Jackson this evening and it’s been the worse concert I have been at the City Center. First there was an opening act, so he really didn’t start a 8:00 he started @ 8:30 he sang 3-4 songs and then walks off stage, 9:20 came by, 9:30 , 9:40 came by no Michael . We got our belongings together and left , very disappointed. On another note you have to do better with your sound system the music is so loud at times that you can’t hear the singer.
And most important you nd to have a better security system, that place was over crowded today the biggest crowd I’ve ever seen there and on the grass area I did not see 1 police officer or security guard walk on by. With how the world is these days with an event so big there shld have been a few of them walking around. I really hope your next concert...
Read moreWe go here quite often, usually attending the outdoor concerts. The outdoor amphitheater is the nicest in the area featuring a large stage with fountains & mountains as a backdrop, it’s quite stunning. The Bands are always a lot of fun and feature many varieties from 80’s pop to country. There is plenty of parking and room to set up chairs. Most restaurants are good. We usually opt for the Pho. Or Mexican, the later being where a vast variety of margaritas are served. The crowd is always respectful and well behaved as well. Overall the new City Center is excellent, the only real “negative” would be that it’s not great for retail shopping with only a few boutique-type shops. Other than that, it’s a great way to spend a Fri or...
