Dollar General — Attraction in Saint Augustine

Today was my 1st visit to this Dollar General location, excited of.course bc who doesn't love the DG? Wow was I surprised and stood in awe and disbelief at the absolute rudest and.down right meanness I witnessed the apparent manager and his assistant treat a young woman who clearly was struggling for help with (I believe) a large rug or some sort of item. I am actually embarrassed myself that I stood aside and watched as the pretty young blonde woman be talked to as though she was no more than a common criminal of the worst kind! I personally suffer from several severe mental health issues, one which is social anxiety, I wasn't able.to leave my home for 2yrs after my son passed. My point is I've been in that young woman's shoes, myself feeling sheer terror. It didn't appear that this woman had my disposition, more like I thought she would give them a good what for. The manager used physical force snatched the cart from.her and attempted to embarrass her more by announcing loudly that she has had to leave items in the cart before, I heard her say..did it occur to you I didn't have the money to afford it? Just maybe I was embarrassed? So, thank you sir for letting your customers know financial struggles. And on it went, the blond left the cart and.walked out, head held high. Though I badly wish I would have stood up for her, a stranger, all alone, being harassed, I just stood there. I apologize to her for my weakness and whole heartedly invite her and any other dollar general lovers to my dollar general. I live at world.golf village, we have a magnificent dollar general. The employers there will think I am joking, and oh yes, I am telling them when I go there. Now I realize the small situations I may have botched about at my store, ha, are nothing! I feel physically ill now and everytime I think of that woman's eyes full of surprise, fear, and rage I feel so disgusted that any person would treat.others in such a way. 0 stars, as for the store by my house in Murebella, 100 stars. I plan on taking this higher, plz if there are other witnesses ,plz.tell your.story as.well, or any you may have. Everyone have a great day, sadly the 2 angry men working at this dollar general will not have a great day, the disgusting looks permanently pasted on their faces, showed me exactly how they like to spend their time. Trying to make themselves feel good by mistreating a beautiful you.g blond woman, of whom they without a doubt know that never would they have a real, and beautiful woman such as she appeared, so as bullys do, they do their best to put others down, despite their looks, bullys are ugly through and through, and it embarrasses me for the DG...

The cashier was not wearing a mask and when I asked about the policy she said it was not required in St Johns county. Although I am aware of this, since I live here full time I said “your website says employees will wear masks”. On all occasions that I have shopped there she has never worn one. My last visit one week ago a large refrigerator was being replaced. As it was moved you could see and smell all the rotten trash that was underneath it. The floor was not cleaned before the new refrigerator was installed. I am so disappointed in the policies and cleanliness of that particular store. I will take my business farther south on the island. I wish I could take this complaint to the owner or CEO in...

My fault for continue to go here. But why are there four members of staff walking around one lady working the register? The line is around the corner and the only person to go do a price check is the person behind the register. And when that price check wasn’t Sufficient they sent another girl to go do a price check for the same item Meanwhile, the girl behind the register is back there smacking on chips. When 2 lady returned with correct price she then opened her register. This place just continues to go down hill. And don’t get me started on the lady they call the manager. She’s is something. And the smell in there is getting...
