This was my first visit to the Village Garden Food Truck Park; its a new spot,as before, it was a wooded(palm-tree-ed???),corner lot...they cleared it & built a nice 3 story storage/prep building which also houses the coffee shop(The Lovin Spoon)This building has a little public parking area & clean restrooms with changing tables. There were 3 trucks open; one did poke bowls & healthy smoothies..one did homemade pizzas...& the third, Funkadelic, did hot sandwiches...beer cheese soup. This place is right on the way home from the beach so, I can see it getting very busy,at times! If parking is crazy just go park across the street & walk over...there are a couple of businesses across the street (Aqua East Surf Shop, McDonald's, & an ABC liquor store) The atmosphere here was very welcoming, which makes me likely to stop in here alone, because everyone is so outgoing that you don't feel alone...BUt,there is some limited seating for a group. Now, getting to the food: The Funkadelic food truck was sooooo delicious!! I got a grilled cheese on artisan bread with bacon, goat cheese, & datil pepper jelly...W.O.W...it came with pasta salad or potato salad but, I upgraded for a cup of beer cheese soup. It was damn fabulous!!!! The people were happy & smiling ANNNNND, what really sold me was that everything was served in BIODEGRADABLE takeout containers! I love the forward thinkers & will support them, wholeheartedly. Loved the whole experience!

If you’re in St Augustine you must make time to stop, check out all the food offerings from multiple food trucks and then sit down, relax and listen to local music performers. My husband and I stopped here after months of driving by and wanting to go. What a cool place! A large space with plenty of seating, shade and food options for all your cravings. We tried blackened fish tacos & the braised pork burrito, then went to another truck for brussel sprout tacos (truly amazing), street corn, plantains, buria & white fish tacos. Lastly, we went to another truck for a pear & goat cheese salad with blackened chicken. We got a lot of this to go, the portions were generous. All of our food choices tasted amazing and we loved the atmosphere. The food truck owners/workers were so nice and professional. Super accommodating to dietary requests too. I highly recommend going to this place and seeing what it has to offer. I guarantee you’ll want to go back again and again!!

We saw the food trucks/trailers as we passed by on A1A. We turned around and drove in to our first Food Truck Park. The facilities were very cool. As we entered the vending/seating area, there was a sign that listed the food truck vendors by day of the week. From the sign, it looks like there is little change in vendors. There were about 5 food vendors and one permanant coffee shop onsite. They had places to sit with tables. The had an area for kids to play while waiting. A very nice area. We opted for Taylors Taco Food Trailer. We got the 2 tacos and chips combo. I chose the Bruno (beef taco) and my wife opted for the Lily (shrimp taco). Everything was great! There were 3 different salsas to chose from. I tried all thress. The hot green salsa was the best. This is a great place to grab a quick bite on a nice day.

Went to Sombreros taco food truck. Wasn't good. $12 for 2 chicken tacos that were not edible. No crunchy taco shells so settled for soft corn tacos. The smoked chicken was dry. There was shredded cabbage on the tacos, the cabbage was not seasoned or sauted.. gross. Only chicken cabbage salsa, had to order sour cream which was on side. It was freaking basic. At best a $2.50 taco. I attempted to pick up the taco and it fell apart immediately. I wasn't given any utensils or napkins, so thrilled for this experience. I highly recommend you go into a restaurant instead of these food trucks. Yeah people are lining up ordering less than mediocre food at restaurant prices - it's just not worth it there's nothing culinary special about the food. My guess is those people just like myself thought ooh let me give this a try it must be good. Nope, not good. If you like overpriced mediocre food then go...
