Interesting pieces, but two major concerns. One, area and installations could be better maintained. Everything seems to be less than 20 years old, but have been deteriorating rapidly. Secondly, more than half the pieces are from the same artist in the same style. For such a small park, as much as this artist may be enjoyed, it seems redundant. I wonder if it was a local artisan who may have donated pieces to the city. But if that was the case, then much better signage is needed to tell the story. (By the way, several of the plaques that were in place, were virtually unreadable). I will say that we thoroughly enjoyed the pier that looks to be recently added. Would encourage some additional signage about the other critters that are easy to observe, like...

The sculptures caught my eye as we drove past and we had to pull around. The parking is a bit hidden, but it's there. Turn in past the police station just north of the garden and follow the narrow road all the way back.

Lots of warning signs about critters. We spotted a black snake that hid in the water meter box and tons of lizards. No gators spotted, but with FL you know they're there. 😉

Be sure to appreciate the gathering of Oaks just before the memorial. More beautiful than any of the gorgeous sculptures. They had me tearing up.

All the shade makes it a perfect cool spot for a picnic, but watch out for that FL menace - stickers! Childhood ouchies were avoided, but I kept my eye open...

This was such a lovely little stop for my best friend and I when we were visiting the area a few weeks ago! We had been staying at a beach house a little ways down the road and just happened to catch a glimpse of this place from the road as we passed by. So on our way back, we decided to check it out. The parking lot was kind of difficult to find, as GPS will take you to a police department parkinglot but there is actually a little road that runs right next to the dept that you take to reach the sculpture garden parking area. The park itself was very clean and well manicured! It was a wonderful photo opportunity and we definitely didn't regret taking the time to check it out! 😀 ...

This park was a wonderful surprise! I stopped just to check out the sculptures and go for a walk. To my surprise I got to see more turtles than I have ever saw! There's a boardwalk along the little pond at the first overlook you get to the turtles gather there! After some investigating talking to the locals I learned that there are people that buy turtle food and come feed them here. I love turtles and it made my day to see all the cute little faces. The turtles appear to be red ear sliders and soft shell. The soft shell turtles are the biggest I've ever seen!

Awesome place. some of the statues seem out of place with others, but if you're like me who cares. There's not much of a theme going on, but everything is so cool. American flags, monuments, etc. pond with a bunch of turtles all over the place. I don't know if it's really worth going out of your way for but if you're ever within a couple miles I would absolutely suggest stopping by. Easy way of getting an hour of entertainment outdoors, either alone or with your loved ones.

This is a Peaceful place to look out over the pond. Eat a snack. Watch for wildlife. Fish if you like. Feed the turtles something green: Lettuce, Cabbage etc. There is a Stone Memorial to Honor our Armed Forces and POWS Past and Present. The Statues are Very Unique and Interesting. This is one of my Favorite Parks in St. Augustine!💜 I Hope You like it as much as I do.💝 Thank You for taking Your time to read my review!🤩 Have a Great Day!🌞
