EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL ON WHO IS THE potential WIFE'S OWNER (or employee who acts like the owner) " Nothing wrong with the Food, I was a regular until today. The( owner or employee)behaved very different than usual almost as if she is potentially bi-polar. I order the same thing almost every time. She was rude on the phone which I passed bec I thought she was having a bad day. When I went to pick up the food she was extremely angry and flustered. She was condesending as well . (I was still calm) at the end of the transaction I said why are you so angry? She yelled and told me to leave also came to tell me that" I MADE HER UNCOMFORTABLE" well guess what? She tried to make me uncomfortable and since that didn't happen she blew out. So unprofessional. I had a business and would never get that worked out. Lady control your self or get some meds! I know is not much butI average spending $35 to $40 a week there. No more bye bye. RESPONSE TO THE OWNER JAN 21/24 I have no apology I do not lie I don't have a need also I don't rejoice on writing bad reviews. Your employee has had a problem she has never been kind or smiled at all. I don't need to lie I'm in fact a happy person. Your employee had a problem. From the phone I tried to be ok and I was the one smiling she couldn't even let it go as I finish paying I ask her are you mad she had the face of someone who got very worked out for cucumbers. She said " YOU CAN LEAVE NOW then said YOU NEED TO LEAVE NOW. Then said YOU MAKE ME UNCOMFORTABLE SO YOU NEED TO LEAVE" I had a business I would never treat a customer like that. YOU are trying to look good and deny it happened. I don't care because Even Island bowls have better prices and better attitude. Yes me being cruel by saying you need your meds is just as cruel as treating a faithful customer in that fashion. Whether you conside her response a yell or not is your personal opinion is not about how loud she was. So no apology. You lost about $30-$40 a week goodby. Your response makes you look worse. You first apologize and then you call me a lier. ? And by the way how could you say things didn't happen that way. You couldn't have known if she smile or not or said that because you were not even by or near her. So who is actually elaborating things...
Read moreMy husband and I went to the restaurant Sporks for the first time today. I decided to go after reading a recommendation from Auggie’s Fresh or Frightening Food Review FB group. Words can not express how delicious it was ....We loved everything that we ordered! Early this morning, I stumbled across this great FB group listing great local eats. There were a number of great restaurants that we had never tried before but were really in the mood for some good old comfort food, so we settled on Spork. The restaurant was small but quaint with fun rustic decor. Their menu consisted of a nice selection of healthy vs comfort food. I ordered “The hot chick “ and my husband ordered “The boss hog” ... go figure🙄. Both sandwiches were fabulous but we did pick “ The hot chick” as our ultimate favorite. It was the quintessential comfort food made into something spectacular, resulting in a mouthwatering sandwich that could be enjoyed by all. This grilled Macaroni and Cheese Sandwich was the ultimate comfort food that really hit the spot. It was love at first bite! This grilled macaroni and cheese sandwich was filled with tender chicken, buffalo sauce and a homemade Parmesan ranch sauce that takes this decadent sandwich to a whole new level for your taste buds. It had just the right amount of kick from the buffalo sauce but not too hot. It was topped off with mac & cheese on a buttery Texas toast bread, which is then grilled until it’s gooey and toasty. It was two All American great recipes combined into one scrumptious sandwich. Even the sides were amazing in their own special way but that would be for whole different review. We had the bacon macaroni and cheese and Uncle keylime’s potato salad. Please go. It won’t disappoint anyone in your...
Read moreWe had the pleasure of having Sporks cater our welcome party the night before our wedding, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Miles and Libby, the owners, were absolute gems to work with. Their attention to detail and dedication to making our event perfect was truly remarkable.
First and foremost, let's talk about the food. It was simply phenomenal. Everything was bursting with flavor, and you could tell that only the freshest ingredients were used. The appetizers were incredible. (We had Crab Crakes, Pineapple Chicken Datil Skewers, Blackened Shrimp Skewers, Southwest Chicken Skewers, Cajun Chicken Sliders, Pork Sliders and Mac and Cheese) We had guests lining up by their tent, waiting for the next round of the Pineapple Chicken Datil Skewers.
The owners Miles, Libby were awesome the entire planning process. They helped us build out menu and were very responsive with any questions that we had.
