If you’re intending to apply for benefits here, please don’t waste your precious time and go elsewhere. I suggest you go down to the one nearby which is the Nellis office as the reviews already speaks for itself. 4+ stars in the Nellis office while 3.2 in this office but really, it should be 1 or below because every time I visit this office there’s always some issue and they are purposely delaying or denying my application when everything should’ve been approved. I came here last Friday because they asked me to attend two Neon classes & a form to be completed by a friend or neighbor for my TANF application which I already did passed and then had my interview later that day. I waited on the line for a long time only to be sent home because they said the paper was already sent or printed out to another department and they couldn’t find it so I didn’t get approved that day and now is Tue so I asked for an update about my case and now they’re saying it’s insufficient information and now they want the landlord instead to complete the form when everything they needed to know is already written in that d*mn paper. Seriously? You asked for it and I gave it to you now you’re asking for more? This office is the biggest scam and just to let you know, I would’ve never have this problem only if I went to the Nellis office, if not for that s2pd class I would’ve been approved by now. Read moreI've called for 3 weeks straight every morning at 7am I am on hold with a recording for up to two hours before a call is attempted to answer .Once the call is picked up after a 2 hour hold the Case workers immediately disconnects the call forcing you to call back and have an even more extended wait time. I am not able to to go online and update my case information due to an error in the system telling me I don't have a case and I'm not the head of household on my case which is false information. I have been in the hospital for over a month trying to get in contact with a case worker and have been unsuccessful no matter how many times a day I call . This is very inconvenient forcing me to to come to a location in person that is not close by just to report and update information..I am requesting assistance...
Read moreThis office is terrible in regards to the EAP program. It supposed to only take 30 days to approve or deny an application. Why is it taking 6months to get to an application that was turned in to your office back in June. Mind you I was told by your CSR back in August that you guys were just getting to the June applications. It's now the last week of November and the June applications are still not gone over? No wonder so many ppl have been evicted from their homes due to not being able to cover their utilities payments in Las Vegas.
