We attended a pre-wedding dinner at this restaurant and we were all very disappointed. The dinner was booked starting at 7 P.M. and we all arrived at about that time by bus. The room was decorated nicely and very appropriate for a wedding party. We were seated at tables of 6 or 8 and there were about 36 people there. We had been there for a while an ONE waitress came around to take only our drink orders. That took her a while but then we didn't get our drinks until almost 8. (It would have been much better if the young man who eventually brought out the drinks had just said to the group "everyone who wants water please raise your hand." Then since a majority of the people ordered water he could have passed out the bottles of water quickly. Then he could have asked the same question for iced tea and delivered those. Then he would have been able to easily fill the requests for other beverages in a hurry. After this the waitress came around to take our dinner order from the 5 pre-arranged dinners. She could have done this earlier and just added our drinks to the bill at that time. Very disorganized. We waited and waited and finally someone in our group asked if we could at least have the bread which they finally brought about 8:45. By now we are getting very hungry. Shortly after that they brought the antipasto which everyone gobbled down in a hurry since everything was so late. Finally about 9:20 or so we got our dinners which were luke warm and we had to rush through the meal because the "party bus" had been booked for 3 hours only and we needed to get back to the hotel by 10:00. Overall it was the most disorganized dinner we have ever been to. The servers were pleasant enough. However the straw that broke the camel's back was when we went to pay. The menu from the establishment showed prices under $20.00 however we were each charged $35.00 for each meal. Because we were running so late and the bus was going to leave no one was able to talk to the manager and gets things straightened out so all of us just paid the price; however even though this problem was not the fault of the servers I am pretty sure that they did not get any tips from any of us. What a shame but the restaurant needed to know how unhappy we all were. This was such a disappointment to the bridal couple and to the rest of us. There is no way I would ever recommend this restaurant to anyone. The meals might have been worth the $12.99 to $19.99 prices on the menu but they were certainly not...
Read moreWe attended a pre wedding dinner here that was scheduled to start at 7 pm. We arrived possibly a few minutes after 7 and were seated at nicely decorated tables. After about 30 minutes ONE waitress came around to about 36 of us and only took our drink order. We did not receive our drinks until after 8. Then later she came around again and took our dinner orders from the 4 or 5 preselected items. (Note: what should have happen is the waiter who later brought our drinks should have brought out the bottles of water that he eventually brought and offered them to whoever wanted water. Then he should have asked for a show of hands for those wanting iced tea and served those. Then he could have easily filled the remaining drink orders in a matter of minutes. Then the waitress would have had to make only one visit with each person and written down both their drink order and their dinner order. We did not get the bread until almost 9 pm and then the antipasto and finally the meal. We had to quickly gobble down our meals because the bus that brought all of us was only contracted for 3 hours which should have been sufficient time to complete this meal. The food was decent however when we had been shown a menu and the prices were not over $20 and we were all charged $35 we did not have time to argue since the bus was going to have to leave so we all paid it. Although this was not the fault of the servers our only way to protest the overcharge was by not leaving a tip so I doubt the servers got any tips. This was the most poorly organized meal I have ever attended especially when there were only a few choices and many of them were easily prepared ahead of time. I would not recommend planning a banquet style meal at...
Read moreHere for a late lunch at 3 pm on a Monday... Ohhhh, what a treat!!! Talk about fresh food and authentically cheffed up!! All fresh and tasty!!! All the way to their butter. I ordered Lasagna and my mother chose the spaghetti and meat balls. An amazing flavor to both and we are foodies who critique on all dishes. Great flavor and amazing sauces. Only thing to keep two eyes on is the "Breaded Fried Mozzarella". Ok, According to Google via Italian heritage, they make this dish on point. But for us as American, we were expecting the good ol' fried mozzarella w/ breaded crumbs. The cheese was delicious but as a [fried cheese sandwich], it's just not our cup of tea, I suppose. Maybe the chef will make this available in the future :) We ended our dinner with their Mousse cake! Wow, how balanced!!!! Light and airy with a sweetness to perfection followed by a thin yet densely caked bottom, also to perfection. 🤤🙏💖🗝️ Just remarkable. And just lovely music!
The soup is incredible and the last time we were here, we had a grand salad, made with fresh vinaigrette, followed by fettuccini with shrimp. All very fresh and great tasting. Authenticity is here if you're looking for TRUE ITALIAN xoxo this place is certainly it. thanks for being open and keeping your Italian roots :)
P.s. I saw one review from a woman noting of not having enough spices? No dear..... as you were wondering, It's definitely...
