After changing my initial review from 5 stars to 1 star, I actually went back to the store again in hopes of resolving my issue with a manager, as speaking with the person who sold me my furniture was absolutely futile. I was greeted by many polite employees, though Ms. Alejandra Barcas personally took the time to listen to my issue and did everything in her hands to help me. I was then assisted by Ms. Emily Gomez in customer service, who kindly and patiently took care of my problem. I just had to update one last time to express how grateful I am to the exceptional customer service provided by these 2 wonderful ladies. I was planning on never setting foot in here again but the service they provided me with today has definitely made me think otherwise. Thank you, Alejandra and Emily!
Update 10/18/22: I have to change my 5-star review to a 1-star review, as I unfortunately cannot leave them 0 stars. We happened to experience some issues with our furniture, mainly due to its poor quality, as furniture this expensive should not be tarnishing less than 2 years after being purchased. We contacted our salesman Arturo at El Dorado (actually went in person), as we are STILL paying for this furniture AND the warranty. Given that he was SO attentive when selling us thousands of dollars of furniture, we figured we would not have an issue resolving our problem. This was not the case. Despite the fact that we are still paying for the warranty, we have been given the runaround. Multiple unanswered calls and failed attempts to reach out to our salesperson have led me to change my review. I was pretty much told that it was my problem now, not theirs.
Don't be fooled. They will be super nice and helpful when trying to sell to you, but you are on your own if you experience any sort of problem after that. Shameful. Initial review: My husband and I had a wonderful shopping experience. We came in looking for living room furniture and were assisted by Arturo, who was super attentive and made sure to show us every sofa they had (based on what we explained we were looking for) until we found the one we loved! He saw we had our baby with us and even recommended the perfect coffee table, beautiful and safe for our baby to be around (no glass or sharp edges).
There was an unforeseen issue on delivery day, as the sofa we chose was too big to fit in the elevator/up the stairs of our apartment complex. Arturo was in contact with us right away; I even went to the store a few minutes later and he helped me find a very similar sofa that could be divided into smaller sections (and would fit perfectly), with delivery scheduled in less than a week!

Read moreI never imagined that such a well-known store had such a deplorable service, where the customer, after paying the full amount, no one cares. My experience buying in this store has been catastrophic. Although the prices are not cheap at all, the service they provide does not correspond to them. Lots of luxury and cute things on display, but when you place your order it looks like you're shopping at a thrift store. What would the founder of that chain say if he were resurrected! These employees throw away the work and effort of an entire family to create an empire of satisfaction and prestige. I feel cheated and I feel that the store only cares about money. I bought a sofa whose value exceeds $2000.00 and it was delivered with two different colors and textures. I called my salesman, Alberto Gomez, who, by the way, has no appreciation for his clients, and he agreed to notify the office to process the replacement. Days passed and I had to go personally to the store, to find out that this man had gone on vacation and had not even informed the store of this situation. I was very well attended by Emily at customer service, but there they have the order, apparently, that if the customer is not satisfied, they return the piece and that they are given a credit from the store, with which I do not agree, well I paid in full for my order and I will never shop there. The sofa was replaced three times and each time there were problems. Finally I am going to return it to make sure that they give me my full money, because the manager only wanted to give me $150.00, that is, that I would be left with a defective piece of furniture and on top of that the refund was not even what I paid for the delivery. Complete lack of respect. It has taken me a lot of work to deal with this store. I recommend anyone who buys there to be very careful. Read moreI purchased a sectional from el dorado, it took five months to receive it, and after it was delivered, there was a damaged to the wedge section. The repair guy came and examined it and stated that a new wedge was going to be provided. It's been 5 months now and after speaking to the sales person and sending about 20 texts, he stated that it was going to be exchanged due to the part was not able to be provided. I want an exchange and no longer want the repair on this sofa. I have a three year warranty and a one year manufacturer warranty. Today, I spoke to Yesenia and she stated that the person who was taking care of my case is no longer working there and that they are trying to get the manufacturers response on the wedge. It's been a whirlwind back and forth with no positive outcome. I am very disappointed and 2ould never purchase any furniture or recommend el dorado to anyone.
I should provide the outcome of the above, after going back and forth, el dorado sent us a new wedge for our sectional, which after placing it in place, it appears that the same thing is happening with the new wedge replaced. It is not lining up with the other sofas, and a funny cracking sound is heard when you are trying to align it. Again, we called customer service and provided them pictures, after their review the contacted us and will coming out again to correct the problem. As the the first revision from the sales person, it appears that these sectionals have a defect from the manufacturer....we are very disappointed with the information and service that has been given to us. I wish that a Manager would contact us with an appropriate Respond and service.....I will continue to share my experience with my family and friends and tell them to stay away from purchasing any sofas at...
