For years now, I have been a frequent customer, and for the first time I am so disappointed with my recent visit. It is unlikely I'll ever return. For me, I now choose to only return to do business with those merchants who show appreciation.
Let me explain. I have had wonderful interactions, on numerous occasions, with your staff who always have shared cultural details and Indian food insight. I have previously felt quite welcomed, so much so that I have brought people there on numerous occasions. Always a good time, until this last time.
This last time, your staff was not engaging or friendly, was obviously not from the culture your restaurant represents, made no recommendations, didn't smile, and was completely uninterested and unattentive. I felt truly betrayed, as I was expecting to have a great time and instead I was provided a terrible experience.
Your three front of the house employees sat eating french fries and socializing for most of the time we were there, while we were being thoroughly ignored. Not once were we asked how things were going or if we wanted anything else. We were clearly not important to your staff.
If you want a very good meal and don't care about the service or being appreciated, then based on this last experience, this place may be for you. When I go out to a restaurant, I expect to have a great time and a good meal, being respectfully served by those who show a genuine concern about...
Read moreFrom the moment we stepped through the door of the restaurant, the culinary experience began to unfold in an unforgettable way. Although the location of the restaurant is not particularly eye-catching, the journey was well worth it. Upon entering, we were greeted by a surprisingly warm and welcoming atmosphere that contrasted with the exterior.
Lucy, our waitress, did an exceptional job describing each dish on the menu with such passion and detail that we felt as if we were already tasting them. Her knowledge of the food and her recommendations helped us make choices that turned out to be spot-on.
The food itself was a revelation. I've had the opportunity to travel extensively and sample various Indian cuisines , but what we tasted here takes the crown as the best food I've had in the United States 🇮🇳 . Every bite was cooked to perfection, with balanced flavors and delicious textures that delighted the palate.
We can't forget to mention the mango shake, which was the icing on the cake for the meal. Rich, creamy, and packed with fresh fruit flavor, this shake elevated the experience to a new level.
In summary, this restaurant is not just a stop for food but a complete culinary experience that exceeded all our expectations. I would recommend it 100%, and have no hesitation in giving it a perfect score of...
Read moreI just want to start off by saying I wish I could rate this place higher, but the service we received is the reason I gave the score I did. As soon as you walked in you’re greeted with the smells of pepper and spice and I was extremely excited for this meal especially since I had eaten here before. Our server was amazing as well. She took care of us as soon as we got in. And that’s where the great service ended, she did her best, but she had no control of the speed of service in the kitchen. We ordered several dishes and a side salad as an appetizer. It took 30 minutes for our side salad to come out whilst a table of 8 that came in after us were getting their main dishes. We received our side salad and shortly after started receiving the dishes we ordered. The last dish to come to our table was a side order of pickled veggies that should have also come sooner. The food was amazing. Don’t get me wrong, but the speed of service was atrocious. A table that came in after us and when we were almost done eating got their appetizers and mains before we finished eating....
