I was so excited to try this place and that’s where I messed up. To start with the server wasn’t attentive or even bothered to check up on us at any point. We ordered a pizza and was under the impression that one side would be buffalo chicken sauce. I understand the menu said búfala and that’s why I asked her if they had Buffalo chicken pizza, i specifically asked if they had Buffalo SAUCE. I also thought it could have been a misspelling b/c their were a few typos in their menu. She nodded her head and said yes so when they bring me the pizza which was literally an amount of cheese that isn’t even edible, I was just so disappointed. We waited about 20 min for her to finally realize we were trying to get her attention only for her then to clarify Buffalo/Bufula is a type of cheese. Thank you for clarifying that after the fact. She didn’t ask if we liked it or if she could do anything. She literally could care less. When we gave her our payment she didn’t seem to hear how we wanted to pay which would have made no sense either way if she did it the way she had understood. I’m a server, it’s our job to give guests a pleasant experience and make guide guests through the menu and choices, and at least make an effort to make the guests happy. She did none of that. I wanted to like this place but she wasn’t helpful at all and I wish I wanted to come back to try items from the menu I’d like but that’s not going to happen. Just disappointing. Also because of the “miscommunication” I got charge for 2 toppings for a pizza I hated. Their pizza is tiny, one size, and extremely expensive. You want good pizza, choices AND a clear menu, Little Louie’s on bird road. You want pizza don’t come here. Good service, don’t come here either, your money is better...
Read moreThis is a great place to have lunch and dine. Great Ristorante Italiano! The food is well-cooked and very tasty I must say. Their large pizzas are great to share, my favorites are the "All White Cheese" and "Margherita." Their pastas are also very good. The Fiochi di Pera is delicious and so is their Lasagna. All pasta dishes bring a salad with Italian dressing, so that's a plus. Price-wise, it isn't the cheapest, but it is not expensive either for most average-wage individuals. Pasta dishes average $14-$17 as of 2020. Their large specialty pizzas like the two mentioned above are $24, but remember they are big enough to share with everybody. To give you a better idea of what eating at this place could cost, I am sharing with you a picture and a breakdown of the orders on a typical friday afternoon; we were 4 people eating and we ordered lasagna (salad included at no charge), 2 fiochi di pera (2 salads included at no charge), cheese ravioli (salad included at no charge), an arugula salad (not included), a large specialty pizza, a coca-cola, and a Peroni Italian beer. All of this cost us $121, and we had to take half the pizza, half the lasagna, almost half the ravioli, and almost a dish of fiochi di pera. This will vary depending on how much you typically eat, but it should give you an idea of what to expect in terms of serving portions and cost. The ambience is great for a family dinner or a romantic date. Everytime I have come here I have had great customer service as well thanks to very polite waiters or waitresses. In all sincerity, I recommend everyone who likes pasta and pizzas to go to this place. I think that it is very likely you will enjoy it as much as I have. Enjoy...
Read moreThis is one of the best Italian restaurants I've been to. It's a little far from where I live but it's worth the drive.
I didn't expect to find this gem in Kendall but it really impressed me. From the minute that we walked, we were greeted with a smile. The place was super busy even the outside was full but our friendly hostess sat us by the wine cellar. The owner came by and introduced himself. We could tell that he was proud of his restaurant and he should be because the food was outstanding.
We started with the Gilled Octopus and Proscuitto and Burrata. That lemon sauce with the octopus was bursting with flavor and the burrata was super fresh. For the main entrees, we got the Tortellini Aurora, Pizza Primavera, and the Chilean Seabass. The Tortellini texture was perfect mixed in a tasty pink sauce. The pizza was also just a flavor explosion but my favorite was the Sea Bass. Perfectly cooked and the lobster cream sauce was to die for. The risotto that came with it was also so good. Al dente and just the right creaminess. As for dessert, of course, we got the Tiramisu. We could tell it was homemade and freshly made today.
What a great experience! I wish I didn't live that far cause I'd probably eat here every week. There are other dishes that I would love to try I'll have an update. This place is perfect for groups and celebrations. Lively atmosphere, good service and the food is amazing. Plus plenty of...
