I entered this store with all the intention of buying decorations for my house and some Christmas details, but the surprise was enormous when I found absurdly inflated prices, so much so that I decided to leave empty-handed. There is no point in paying exaggerated amounts for simple ornaments, when similar products are obtained elsewhere at much more reasonable prices. And I was not the only one: while I was there, I saw several people leave with the same frustration as me, without buying anything. That should be a clear signal to the owners that something is very wrong with the way they run the business. Such a stocked store, with so much potential, is spoiling itself out of sheer ambition. They seem to not care whether they sell or not, as if they believe that filling the shelves with goods is enough. But make no mistake: no business survives on beautiful display cases, survives on satisfied and frequent customers, and you are scaring them off with abusive prices. That kind of strategy is not entrepreneurial vision, it is simply greed disguised as luxury. The advice is simple: adjust prices to the reality of the market and of the people. They would rather sell more at a fair price than little or nothing at ridiculous prices. It is better to move goods constantly, gain the trust of the customer and ensure that they return, than to maintain a warehouse full of products that nobody buys. If they do not make that change of mentality, their fate is marked: the store will end up empty of customers and closed due to bankruptcy. The public is not stupid; perhaps a person will buy once out of necessity, but not come back. And so, little by little, they are losing credibility,...
Read moreOn their website they can control the reviews, they will not publish negative reviews, but here it is. I made an online order for almost $2k which had 9 items. Well, 8 items arrived damaged, they charged me for "brand new" items and they sent display / returned /open box items (look at the pictures). When I went to a store to return the only items that fitted in my car, they told me that the items couldn't be changed because they were "old inventory" and the one I was taking to change them were new and they will have to do a refund (of an order which I used discount coupons) and then I will have to buy them again paying full price, that was absolutely disgusting. See the pictures and note that the items arrived with dents, scratches, broken, with the box opened, the ottoman arrived without even box, rusty pieces, etc. Absolutely awful experience, 8 of 9 items have details, and the corporate office's response was that I had to take the items back to a store. You don't need to be too smart to know that if a person paid for shipping and for heavy shipping it is probably because the person cannot pick them up.... what makes you think that I am able to take them back to the store personally if I couldn't pick them up when I bought them?.... disrespectful situation, horrible customer services, nobody solves anything. I hope they would take the same time they use to send tons of marketing emails everyday in solving this kind of disgusting situation, but no. First time buying from AtHome and my very last!! Trust me, avoid this people, as a Local...
Read moreIt finally happened. This is best thing to happen to Kendall. My mother and I have talked about At Home due to seeing it on YouTube for a long while now, wishing there was one nearby (the closest is 44 minutes in North Miami). I literally felt my heart raising while walking the isles. The products are high quality and super budget friendly; with a bunch of styles of decoration that can fit anyones taste. For example today I bought this gorgeous sixteen pack of glittery shatter proof ornaments for FIVE DOLLARS. I'm flippin and skippin. I easily recommend this store as the most affordable and classy home goods...
