We went here for breakfast and tried out somewhere we haven't been to. It was fairly busy at the time we went. It's located at the tail end of the strip mall on SW 137th Avenue. The parking is limited next to it; there is parking, just a bit further away. There was also limited seating both inside and outside. We ordered at the counter and was fortunate to find a table outside. Since it was our first time, we didn't know if we had to pickup the coffee at the counter or was it going to be brought out to us. We sat down and later the server asked if we wanted our cappuccino now or with the food, and we said now since we hadn't had our coffee in the morning yet. The food came out and we had to ask about the cappuccino since it didn't come before as we had requested. We had ordered the Galipán Sandwich and the Avocado Toast which was good. The service was subpar, the server never came back out to check how everything was or if we needed anything. I guess when you tip ahead at the counter, they already got the money and didn't need to provide excellent service. Overall, I found that it was expensive, very pricey and the service was subpar. There are so many choices to go have breakfast and unfortunately the one is a one and done.

This is a very interesting place, a mix of Venezuelan and French bakery suitable for a wonderful breakfast. The food is superb: their Ham and Cheese Omelets, The Avocado Toast are the top of my preference, special mention is required for the Ham and Cheese Croissant and the “Cachitos” they bring s to my mind so wonderful memories about my beautiful and lovely Caracas “before the disaster”. Another plus of this place is their breads, specially the “Campesino”. Now in the coffee section their coffee is no second in quality of the best coffees in Miami, but sadly they only serve coffee in paper cups that’s a shame as the flavor change dramatically. Regarding their croissants are “ok” but not the best. Now the things that in my personal and modest opinion I don’t like are: The lack of natural juices in the menu, the coffee served in paper cup and the permissive policy to allow dogs getting in the indoor saloon. To finish, if you ask me if Galipan Bakehouse deserve a visit I will said with all my heart that YES, one, two and dozens of visits, The food is in general superb the service as well. A very cute place in the “arrabales” of Kendall.
