Horrible experience amidst this pandemic.
First of all, abysmal service, expensive for the quality, horrible presentation of food and uncleanliness.
I crave fast food not too often with my wife, and as being Colombians seek out good places to eat, I was so biased towards this place because of some reviews, but I gotta say I didn't expect to see such uncleanliness. Ordered a Hamburguesa Paisa, a Choriperro, and an order of fries. The lady said 25 minutes so we waited in the car, this wasn't on the weekend and right when they openend, mind you, so after 25 minutes we go and check on our order, the order was not ready and ended up waiting from 45 to 50 minutes. During those extra 25 minutes we witnessed it all, how they prepare the small cups of salsas and lime juice, the same lady that receives the money and cards squeezes the limes for the juice and packs the food when she is alone, she neither uses gloves or washes her hands, it was a sore sight seeing that nasty lime juice full of germs. The food looked horrible, just a hard-to-eat-right mess and my burger was the wrong one, they gave me a Hawaiiana, the fries where soggy deep in oil and bland, we ended up tossing them. It is insane that people believe this is good, I have been to other Colombian places and have been way better than this, such as La Burguesa which is even around the area, they have some of the best service, presentation and flavor.
I'm being left out with the fear of getting a nasty germ like one of the commentators here, we brought one of those sauces home and left it out all night, in the morning it was spoiled, stay safe people, remember there is a pandemic and other nasty germs as well.

Read moreI just had a really bad experience at their food cart location. After waiting 15 minutes for an 'arepa rellena de pollo', I was appalled to see the lady handling people's food and packing people's sauces (without latex gloves) suddenly start picking up garbage on the floor with her hands. I waited to see if she was going to wash her hands and she didn't. Instead she grabbed a stack of the portion cups they use to pack sauces for customers and I had to step in and say something. I work in the food and service industry and my job requires me to take food safety courses for certification once every 3 years, so when you are informed of the dangers of improper food handling you tend to get a bit fussy about food safety like I am. I politely asked the lady if she was going to wash her hands and I can tell she improvised with her response, as she proceeded to grab a bottle of water and then stepped to the side to pour water from the bottle on her hands. YES REALLY, that was her idea of hand washing before handling peoples food, oh wait, she did squirt a little bit of sanitizer on her hands afterwards. Then the other woman who receives the orders and takes payments decided to add her two cents and insult me and insult my intelligence by telling me that there's a certain way to do things; implying that I was being offensive for being so straightforward in my criticism of the other woman's lack of professionalism and lack of responsibility (due to ignorance of the dangers of improper food handling). Look, I know it's a food truck, but there should be no exception when it comes to food safety and responsible vending. I was so disgusted and offended, that I politely asked for my money back and needless to say I will never, ever, ever eat there again. So next time you decide to eat there, do it at your own great risk. if that's the level of "professionalism" going on outside the truck, where you can see them, I don't even want to think about what goes on inside the truck, where you can't see them. Also, I asked for the phone number to the owner or a person in charge, and was blatantly denied that information. I think the owner should know how people are running his business when he's not around, that is... if...
Read moreI’ve been a loyal customer of Asados de Paisa for over eight years, but unfortunately, this food truck has taken a serious dive in both quality and service. What once was a go-to spot for delicious food and decent portions has now become a major disappointment.
First off, the portions are embarrassingly small, especially given the price. You’re paying $25 for a meal, and they skimp on the meat every time. The food looks like it’s just slapped together with no care or attention, making the experience feel cheap and lazy.
My latest order was a papa loca, and the fries were so dry and overcooked, they resembled chips rather than fries. It’s obvious that the food isn’t being prepared with the same standards they used to have. To make matters worse, there seems to be a revolving door of new cooks and employees each week, none of whom seem focused on delivering quality service. Instead, many staff members seem more interested in flirting with each other or customers than doing their jobs.
Back in 2012, Asados de Paisa was a completely different experience. The portions were good, the food was flavorful, and the customer service was excellent. Sadly, those days are long gone. I wouldn’t recommend wasting your $25 here. There are far better options elsewhere. Save yourself the...
