Stopped in to check if they had a particular pre-owned game in, and while I was there, the manager was talking down to an employee the entire time, publicly. I was there for about 10-15 minutes, before I decided to leave. I was no longer interested in spending my money in this store. I'll just pay for the game on PSN, and skip listening to that sort of thing. When I was leaving, the line at the one open register was backing up (about 5 or 6 people in line) and the manager saw, but did not open another register, or call one of the other employees to open one. I've been a long time customer here (since they opened up in the Atlanta area) but I've been seeing the customer experience put to the back, in favor of money at all costs, even to the extent of lying to customers for the numbers. I think I'll start taking my business elsewhere. Most often, pre-owned games are less expensive elsewhere, and I don't have to pay for a membership card to not even get my magazines. (I've had them "fix" my address at least a dozen times or more, but still only get 2-3 magazines per year) It's been a long run, GameStop, but I think I'm done shopping with you. Maybe if you guys start showing you care about your loyal customers, I'll give you another chance, but from now on, I'll be taking my...

For "CJ" or Constance, this was a walk in the park for she did not judge and provided me with honest feedback from both personal standpoints and those of which I imagine are the standard of Game Stop leaving options on the table, for a now well informed customer. This is very rare in todays world to find someone in retail or life in general who can captivate a consumer or person for that matter with pure honesty and unparalleled engagement and patience and not stick to some corporate script. I felt as though I was at a lunch table talking with friends about the latest games and those from the past, rather than in a retail establishment. To be quite frank, I could spend hours writing about how awesome this interaction was, but in a nutshell I just went in for a pre owned game for my console and ended up leaving refreshed with a new system all together pre ordered. It is safe to say, that some hope for humanity has been restored...
Read moreAs a lifelong Gamestop customer, I’d recommend folks steer clear of this location and go elsewhere. The bulk of the pre-orders I’ve placed have arrived later than launch-day, and they almost never have the promised pre-order bonuses. And if you’re the type to just come and pre-order collectibles, be aware there’s a high chance you won’t receive a call and they’ll just put it on the sales floor.
I’ve worked for this company, I understand how hectic it can be, but I also understand how simple some things are and this is just inexcusable. What is the point of putting down your money in advance if they routinely fail to keep...
