Dietary Restrictions!!!! I rate this restaurant a 1 star due to the fact that I ask the gentleman if the food was spicy and he said NO. Upon reaching home I took a bite and it was extremely spicy, I have stomach issues therefore I couldn’t eat the food I had to give it away, $30 for okra soup with chicken wings( the menu is deceiving as well , I had 2 small half chicken wing and 2 bulky drumsticks) the menu clearly say wings for protein, choose your protein but no where it say drums online !!! I do not recommend because I have a condition that I can’t eat spicy food and this food could have sent me to the ER! These restaurants need to be more honest with their customers, people have allergies and conditions that could be life threatening, They lied about the spice level! I give this restaurant a 0,, I’ve had African food all my life, I will find another restaurant! Don’t waist your money too expensive & could be life threatening for those that have...
Read moreFirst of all let me start off by saying I’m Ghanaian and very picky about African food. I came here with my family and the food was ah-mazing. 5 stars allll around. The Jollof was delicious. It tasted more like Ghana Jollof than the Nigerian Jollof I’ve eaten at numerous places. I had pounded yam with egusi soup and assorted meat. It was also sooo delicious. To be honest, everything thing any of us ate was great. This is hands down the best African restaurant I’ve been to ever. And I’ve been to several in multiple states. We also met the owner who was so funny and kind. He helped us with our menu choices. And he was so confident in his food that he even brought out samples so we could try a few items we were debating on. He had us dying laughing and cracked several Ghana-Naija jokes throughout our conversation. All in all if you have an opportunity to come here, then go. I wish i lived nearby so I could come back and try everything...
