Helpful today! Not sure what the deal was...spent about 17k over the years buying merchandise, I'll go elsewhere for my needs. I'd name whose been so super helpful but no need. Odd as well as this is the exact same transaction that's been done many times. This is the only place there is a problem, and from one person. But last time everything was fine. For the customers. Serious issues with customer service here. Rude attitudes, sometimes friendly, and then the same people talk down to you or are completely unhelpful. This mornkng wasn't a good day apparently. Had my problems with employee customer relations here, many times in the past but this location, I don't get it. If you're going to be rude and unhelpful just DO THAT. Or be helpful. Not like faces changed over here. Come here often enough. No matter, just cannot give this a 5* anymore. Had a great experience once and forgot to change this awhile ago. Real nice young lady this morning! 6/21 must be the bad day, or maybe it's something with Thursdays, seem to have more issues Thursdays, some Wednesdays, not many on Mondays, noticed this, just...it's the same people. Why? Friendly one day and no problems with anything, and other days nope don't care about my job! So much time I used to spend at this chain. It's really gotten a poor reputation over the years due to hiring inexperienced "managers" but I guess you either go to school or you really work and move up and we never see the good people anymore. Or they leave who knows. I've got to come back to this place at some point, think I'll just cancel my orders, not like it was a big ticket last time anyway. But I don't know, already paid for everything. I don't even put the deposits down and everything! I pay the whole thing. Usually 7-800 at a time pending what's selling. But I just can't do it. I'll shop online for the products and trust the mail. Company will likely not get much from me anymore because I dislike online shopping. Human experience, but these people. Don't expect them to behave normally. Erratic. Unsure if there is a problem internally, but always recognized! Usually just ignore the problem days but this has been about the fifteenth time now. From the same people. I get I've made that point but I don't get why...you aknowledge your memory of your customer base, friendly 30% of the time (calculating actual visits) always remember, but it's just that day again. Read moreIts not that bad for a small store but customer service is extremely important, this place is a hit or miss when it comes to this, when I first bought my Nintendo 3DS there was a girl who happily showed me the difference between the normal and the XL, so I got the XL version with a copy of both Pokémon X and Y, as I payed for my console she took my copies of X and Y and brought me two new copies and charged me as if they were used, I was so happy that day, so I came back with my little brother, he wanted a game so I bought him one and I asked if Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire were available for preorder, the man rudely said no. I was flamed so I payed for the games and left and did some research online and sure enough they were on preorder, I placed a purchase for both versions, and on release day I went and picked them up and it was the same guy and he refused to give me my games he said they were not payed for I was furious and show him the receipts for them and still sad no, man if this wasn't the only GameStop close to me I wouldn't go here, still great selection on games...
Read moreI ordered a ps4 blast from the past bundel for my son. I orded online. When it arrived i noticed it was refurbished. I never buy used hardware. A gamestop employee shared with me that they ran out of new units before christmas and had updated the online offer to reflect the changes. However some orderes where placed before the update was made. I brought my referbished unit into a gamestop store to exchange for a new one and was told i needed proof of the original online ad i had orderd from. I didnt kno i needed to screenshot before ordering from gamestop. After a long hastle i finally got my money back in time to buy my son a new ps4 from walmart. Long story short. I will never spend another dollar at any gamestop. Walmart has much better...
